I am not sure what the complaint is here exactly? I don't see any harshness coming at you from the few posts you have, or is this opinion coming from another account? I am honestly really confused. And unless I missed something, that is nothing compared the vitriol that can be thrown around here - so if you are scared off already, maybe it is for the best.

a bunch of people here are cool, but there's also a lot more negativity than almost any other message board. kinda pathetic to constantly run people off, which I'm assuming is to keep things accessible and cheaper. if not, i'm assuming it's just a bunch of black hearts

The negativity comes from people getting annoyed with bone heads ruining something they appreciate. Not pathetic to run off assholes who don't respect what we love. Its not about keeping things cheaper or more accessible, its about keeping them in real collectors hands, not flippers or hype mongers.

^^^ It's funny, I had a n00b (who seems like a nice enough guy) who bought something from me recently want to ask me some questions, because I am such the veteran or whatever. Anyway, he also thought that people's motivation for being acrimonious on SB, especially sales threads, was to scare people away to get the good deals for themselves. Seems strange to me that this would be such a widespread misconception... but then I guess I take the good deals of the board for granted at this point.

People need to realize, they aren't going to get any hate for posting photos of their collections, being interested and enthusiastic about toy releases (that aren't beets or total hype), and sharing info/opinions. They get hate for asking questions that can be answered with the search engine, breaking rules in the sales forum, being part of the hype machine, and bitching about all the hate.

I probably read most threads over the last year and I still don't get why being into the most hyped stuff is a problem. Other than Nags and Bootlegs, MVH seems to be the most desired toys but people aren't hated on for collecting them. Heck, I got the Kozik bootleg easy today after a misstep in typing in my pw while every MVH release this year was an instasell. Is it really a hype thing or a Mishka thing?

I just recently joined and I haven't encountered any of this so called ''hate'' ...using the word ''hater'' makes me want to projectile vomit. if i've broken any rules i apologize for being unaware...all I'm aware of is that you need a certain number of posts before you can post a want list? I'm not sure what else.
