Re: Kappa, Ikakumora, Shishi, Takoshi and the Ape
Yeah, those international rates are crazy, same with Super7. Unless you can get someone to do you a favour, or use a forwarding service, buying there ends up costing you so much that unless you are a high roller or buying something really expensive, it isn't really possible. I would especially love some of the ceramic guys, but am too scared, not just for the weight, but what might happen in transit. If I spent all that money, I would be heartbroken to receive a broken piece, especially since you cant exactly replace it.

Re: Kappa, Ikakumora, Shishi, Takoshi and the Ape
Wow... just picked up the pink ape and the orange Takoshi. I already had a Shishi from the GH show so these will get together nicely. Also have several tiki mugs from munktiki and the quality is always great... hope to see more ceramic and vinyl in the future!

Re: Kappa, Ikakumora, Shishi, Takoshi and the Ape
^ You will love that orange Takoshi in person, it was my favorite 1.
So much awesome stuff, everyone should go buy the unpainted green vinyl. It's an amazing color on a great sculpt.

Re: Kappa, Ikakumora, Shishi, Takoshi and the Ape
Thanks guys for selling out the show! I appreciate it immensely! I wanted to point out real quick that my ceramic figures are very limited. One working mold will only put out around 100-150 pieces(more likely no more than 125). Later pieces requiring much extra work to clean up mold wear. So what you are getting is limited to the design not color. Once one of these guys is beyond its 100-150 it'll be retired and not made again, unless its a brand new incarnation. Anyways thanks again. Im very happy "Yakimon" is getting good feedback as it makes me happy to make them btw... shameless plug, if you didnt know Im doing indie game development now too and our meager Kickstarter just funded. We'd love to get to our stretch goal though so if your feeling generous we've still got a ton of awesome rewards available http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/beardogames/cheap-shot-a-video-game-crowdpunching-frustration?ref=live

Re: Kappa, Ikakumora, Shishi, Takoshi and the Ape
Takoshi arrived! Fantastic figure, love the little Ikakumora, and the pictures don't do the green justice. It really looks like ceramic, is that a black speck in the green?
Awesome, really looking forward to more.

Was this you messing around with the Feejee Mermaid head on the Ape body and it worked well so you made it? Looks great.

Re: Kappa, Ikakumora, Shishi, Takoshi and the Ape
Should have asked this in the previous post but, it looks like the Ape can stand in multiple poses? On the Feejee version above his arms are behind but on these his arms are in front.

Unfortunately to get his hands behind his back it takes a smidgen extra of modifying.
