 Re: Favorite shelf
Thanks for the info. I've seen Makoto plenty of times before and thought about buying one. I like the Planet Toys versions so I'll probably take a closer look. I love all the accessories and such, and didn't know about how filthy they are and that just makes them more interesting. Mr.Krotpong wrote: The top row are from a company called Planet Toys which appeared to be a subsidiary of Fewture, they were released in 1999. The bottom ones are from Art Storm, which is a Fewture sub-company. All of the tooling and manufacturing appears to be the same between the two companies. Makoto-Chan, and Pyonko-Chan (the little girl) were both re-released by Art Storm maybe four years ago (?). Well worth checking out if you've got an interest. Makoto-Chan in particular, because he is very well accessorized and has secret, germ-filled hiding places on his body. It's very strange.
The manga are funny and horrifyingly scatological, ensuring that they will never be translated and released here in the US.
A close shot of the wind up. There is this one, a full color, and a GID.
They all are out of production, but are easily found on YJA.

 Re: Favorite shelf
While I am partial to the Tsubu/Toho grouping, the Kamen Rider one is pretty darn spiffy too. Both are unquestionably amazing toy shelves. Very nice work on the collection.

 Re: Favorite shelf
delviper we have two shelves that are very similar! Crazy! I'm so jealous of that clear ultraman and your Green kamen rider. Hopefully one day I'll score those too.
