That's why I'm a Garamike fan. Your morning photo shoot brightened my day!

I don't know where the second photo was taken, but in my head I want to think your at a FedEx office trying to explain a shipping mishap. Just an average day in the life of garamike.

Re: Great morning to just pull on a bathrobe & head downtown
Great photos Mike! I definitely love the idea of Garamike making repeated checks to his local post office for that anticipated package - (of toys perhaps) - but if you put it together with last one, I got the story that he ordered a ferocious creature through the mail to assist in his kaiju world domination, but when he received the box he was surprised to find a vinyl toy, which, while impressive, also fit inside his hand; not quite living up to the ad description. Classic mail order catalog disappointment right there.

Nah! She loved it! She watched the whole process of transformation at home... smiled and laughed with me the whole time we were out walkin'. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, as I hadn't been Garamike around her since last September, when she was only about 3 months old, but it couldn't have gone better or more naturally. In general, actually, I think what we have in her is another dyed-in-the-wool monster kid.

is that your tail sticking out on the second pic? Also, what a cute baby, it sounds like she had as much fun as you did.

gatiio wrote: is that your tail sticking out on the second pic? Indeed, g! That's tail 2.0- the first version I made (busted out for NYCC last year) was sort of a failure- too heavy, didn't look right... I restarted from scratch, and this one is about 1/4 the weight, looks better and stays more securely in place... and I was able to retain/refine the quick on-and-off magnetic attachment feature I came up with on the first pass! (Engineering those kinda things is at least 1/3 of the fun for me!) EVOM wrote: amazing pics Mike! you NEED to do an awkward family photo as Garamike. YES, Brent- agreed! A Sears portrait studio visit is in our future for sure! I just have to find the right sweater and turtleneck combo...
