I really love those Arklon guys. The full three-set mashups are just awesome. I wonder how many lucky kids were actually able to build crazy robots like that.

For some reason that black and white one just reminds me of those comic ads where you could 'earn' all that random crap/best things in the world. Ahhhh, youth spent dreaming.....

That Robodachi island set looks to be about the most fun toy EVAR.

And forgot to mention how cool that Microman T421/2 Dober ad is! Gotta love pretty much *anything* Takara put out in their scifi lines...

Those are some classic PEZ. I am not a collector or anything, but have always loved the early designs. The seem especially non PC; I would love that 'Mexican.' I really wish they would have still made non-licensed characters in the past few decades. The last gasp of great ones I think were the 'whistle' series. Some character ones are okay, but I just don't seen the reason for that being 90% of the dispensers now. I don't think I have seen that one in the bottom right with the fedora, I will need to do some more checking up on that.

Not all toy related, but I stumbled upon some vintage Bullmark posters (and a bonus Kamen Rider one). Really great to see the original that the classic photo of the sleeping boy with his toy collection was used in.

Some tiny bonuses:

I really love those battery sets, I wonder if any of them survived the decades. I highly doubt it, since they would be tossed and/or corrode, but I would love to see some nowadays, and they would be perfect to set alongside electronic toys.

That cutaway Voltes V is fucking KILLER!! One of my favorite super robot designs...and the "x-ray" shot makes him look even cooler.

Me too! Moogsy, how big of a collection of books do you have? I only have about 15 wit advertisements and stuff..
Image

Most of my books are the thick paged picture books for kids, but I have a smattering of 80's kids TV magazines with all kinds of ads and games.

I've been using the games/puzzles for reference for years now.

Excellent 'paper' collection Moog. Looks like the weight is a bit much for some of your shelves. Just don't show this pic to anyone you ask to help you move.

My brother just bought a Kindle Fire and has been downloading millions of comics on torrents etc. He now thinks I'm a mug for having so much 'clutter'.
I like actual books dammit, and that aint gonna change!

Nice, i will order them when i get paid. I was a bit disappointed when i realised they are quite small format but I'm sure they will still be really cool.
