...STILL remodeling, a whole year later , but nothing worries my dear Henry. He's still as mellow as ever, camping out in a looooooooooong plotter paper box. I love Henry

Re: kitteh of teh dai
Thank you! The photo was actually taken by one of my contractors working at the house today (i was camped out at the office last night, and missing my kittees). Just imagine big hairy men working around the house (all the time it seems! ), all instantly melting, when they see my dear fuzzies. Henry and Emma are great kittees! They don't mind all the dust, changes (their litter box gets moved everywhere, and quite often too!), being locked up in various rooms, depending on where the work is going on, all sorts of equipment and supplies being stacked in different rooms and strewn all over at various points in time, etc... total chaos!
The contractors are extended uncles to Henry and Emma. They even feed them daily, wash their bowls, AND pooper scooper the litter box ...everyone loves H&E
Oh! I forgot to say, other than Mr. Humphreys (my dear departed gray tabby ), these are the only other rescue kittees with their entire ears intact! It's sort of neat to see those ear tufts (like mini lynxs), most rescues have their ears clipped.

Oh yes! Most definitely! It is my goal to make the house as easy to clean as possible... ripped out all of the old yucky carpet, had the linoleum replaced with hardwood floors, granite or tile, etc... Having a fiber-free interior, means it will be super easy to keep the house clean for kittees . No more imbedded litter bits, no more stains, no more dust, etc... All the cloth drapes that use to accumulate lots of cat fur and almost impossible to clean, are going to be replaced with wood-slat blinds. I also had the carpenter install extended comfy window ledges, so H&E can actually stretch out comfortably on the sill, and sleep in the sun and look out of the windows and chirp at the birdies. He's also going to install wall shelves for the kittees to climb on (well and for some storage too!). The entire house was remodeled internally, and being replaced with all natural materials, and paint and varnishes were selected for no or very low toxicity risks. The kittees will get to sun themselves on a newly rebuilt deck as well (no pressure treated wood with imbedded arsenic and toxins). The best thing about the contractors, is that they do vacuum and clean up every day, before they leave, to keep the house safe for kittees

What a nice thing to say, Ben! I'm always pretty happy when I'm out in the greenery with some plastic friends and my crappy camera; and that immediately doubles whenever Quibs shows up to help out...
...and she's always passing through! My favorite bomber. Quibbins Buta ButaNoHana Kemur Gomora Villa Enmago Zissou Reiblood
Haha, she is just as curious about these toy things as other people, and then of course has to make it known that she still rules while your attention is momentarily diverted.
