Re: Grody Shogun - New Stuff
I picked up one of those Mechani Kongs to get painted. I did a little research, and I believe all three of them are made from original molds from this 1983 set by Yamakatsu:

Re: Grody Shogun - New Stuff
When they posted the first batch I didn't realize there was a fish hiding behind them, definately changed my opinion of the sculpt in a more positive direction.

Re: Grody Shogun - New Stuff
I think they are great for ¥1500 but $25 each seems a bit spendy for finger puppets (unless blessed by Paul Kaiju).
Also, these are made by Dream Rocket, not Grody =P

63 and counting. I thought I hoarded the grodys, but pretty sure Connell has almost double that. Would love to see all of them in one shot!

Re: Grody Shogun - New Stuff
I'm working on it guys. Been thinking of a full collection shot for some time. Just haven't attempted it. Kind-of a massive undertaking. I've got 9 shelves packed full like a damn Tetris puzzle, or Jenga. Gotta unload them and find a way to display them all to fit in a picture.
