They're actually crystal clear acrylic beads; after I installed them in the sockets, while the heads were still detached, I painted the back sides to achieve the color-shifting, radiant "cat's eye" effect.

Really nice detail in that close-up pic .... I hope some more of them show up here on SB .... but if some remain "hidden" for whatever reason, it would be nice if sometime in the near future , you could post pics of any we haven't seen.... group shot maybe ?
