ive got a soft spot for miclas, (ミクラス, Mikurasu, etc) and somehow stumbled upon this auction. these toys are usually cheap anyway, but i think the misspelling and unknowingness was in my favor. that, and the out of focus/american flag photo op. this is from "godzillas gang" in case anyone wasnt aware already.

i dont know if this thread will flourish, but if you have funny stories or luck on websites/fleabay, feel free to share here.

I recently got a huge shoebox full of Warhammer 40k tyranids that ranged from OG to 3rd edition models, had it listed as aliens vs predator, needless to say I stole that lot  easily 2,000 points worth for $16 shipped

Ugh, lucky! I have never seen anything like that. I need some 'Nids in my life, cheap ones. Lol.

I got a boxed, unifive jumbo Garada for forty bucks shipped.
When it arrived his sickles had four different crayon colors all over them and they were a bit chopped....like when you hammer a ruler on the edge of a desk.
Apart from that....FORTY BUCKS!

Tiger Mask group by The Moog Image Dump, on Flickr

Back in Feb i scored all 6 of these for $66 (+ postage) on Fleabay. I still cant believe my luck even now . . . :)
That sort of ridiculous bargain doesn't happen very often to say the least.

You are not the only one who can't believe it. That deals still haunts me to this day, and I saved those screencaps just to torture myself some more (apparently). By far and large the best deal I have ever heard of through Skullbrain. Congratulations again! [goes away to hug his knees and cry in the corner]

^^^ dont i know it . . . i missed another lot for just a bit more but couldn't complain because i snagged the best lot of the two the guy was offering.

I was introduced to the Nakajima Tiger Mask toys by the thread on SB but thought i'd never be able to afford a set of vintage ones . . . few months later landed these six.

Beginners luck, Daniel-san!

Paid $70 for a huge TMNT vintage lot last year. I sold 4 pieces from it that were duplicates for what I paid for it. I still haven't properly gone through the rest of the stuff, but the duplicates remaining I can probably get $400-$500, plus like 50 figures for my own collection. Lot's of rarer stuff in it like the Movie Turtles, Giant Krang, small Krang, Anniversary Leo, Universal Monster Turtles, etc.

Had to look these up as I totally forgot about them. Needless to say if you're selling, I'm buying them for my son

My son loves the monster ones. The only one he's missing is the Invisible man.
