Re: Regular Show
I know a few parents that are OK with Adventure Time, but not so much Regular Show for the younger kids. One reason I know of, Adventure Time replaces all "bad" words with made up things, like "What the math?" whereas Regular Show uses a little rougher language like "sucks" that a lot of parents don't want their kids to pick up on. Either way, both shows rock!
Well I know my daughter mathn' LOVES Adventure Time and doesn't give a fuck about Regular Show (except the ring tone ).

I watched an episode or two of both this and Adventure Time - probably not enough to judge whether it's age appropriate for my kids (2 and 4). Are they?
My 4 year old started watching adventure time when he was 3 and has no problems with it. Though he was scared by Me-mow but not the Nightosphere or the Lich king. But then again I had him watching Godzilla and Ultraman before he was 1.
My four year old daughter loves both shows. She doesn't get half of the jokes or references from Regular Show, but that's ok with me. We have fun watching together.

This thread is a prime example why i love skullbrain . . . . . . i had never heard of 'Regular Show', read this thread, and then watched the first 4 episodes the same evening.
Regular Show is now my new favourite animation. I tried Adventure Time a while ago and found it just a tad too 'for the kids' but Regular Show seems on first impressions to be aimed more at adults.
Really funny . . . . i think the character that makes me laugh most so far is 'Pops'

Dude! I'm so glad you got into this show. It's so weird and out there. I wish there were more cartoons of the same nature, and have you watched 2 in the am pm?
