I watch the episodes at least twice (sometimes 3 times) as well. On this weeks second viewing I caught Jesse actually calling Mr. White 'Walt' for the first time during that phone call.

That's a good catch! OK so I was wrong about indications. That's a pretty clear one that any residue of a proxy student/teacher father/son bond is dead. Not that the spitting didn't make it obvious.

I've abandoned any fantasies of Jesse settling down with Andrea and becoming a good stepfather to Brock, but I hope they get his money.

So a few questions/things to think about.

Did the Aryan gang see Jesse in the car? By the way the camera was angled it seemed he was hidden from their view.

What did Walt do with his cellphone? I don't remember Gomez taking it from him.

Will Jesse (or someone else) use the gun Walt left on the ground? Maybe a well placed weapon like the hollow point that saved hank's life?

Post Re: I heart Breaking Bad
couple random thoughts i had before the gang came to save the day:

1. was walt smart enough to perhaps bury 7 drums. in 2 seperate locations one leading to the actual $, and one leading to empty barells in case he ever had to give one up.

2. was walt smart enough to perhaps plant a bomb, detonator to perhaps put the $ up in flames if he ever needed to do so.

these are what i thought, but then i think they went out the window once he called to give the cordinance.

a pet peeve I had... Walt is always a step ahead, and always so careful, you figure he would of checked about the GPS feature... or at least... checked with the rental agency after Jesse made the assumption that there was gps on it.

Huell has been in some shit with Saul and Walt/Jesse... Why he crumbled so quickly has me going WTF...

Todd is a pushover. The kid is so proper and wants to do good for those that he works for. Its rather chilling how he has no emotions when talking about "problems" at hand.

Spelling errors above. sorry.

I'd like to participate in the discussion, but I'm only on season 5. Watching on netflix. Frankly, I didn't think there was going to be a season 6!

Well Jesse did tell him not to hang up the phone otherwise he'd burn all his money. But the first bit, you have a bit of a point. Although he was still freaking out about Hank finding out about him, and we all know what happens when Walt loses his cool.

I would have crumbled too if I saw a picture of jesse (former business associate) with his brains blown out. Huell is not very smart though, poor guy. What did happen to Kuby though? I wonder.

technically its 5b, the second half of season 5. don't get ahead of yourself though, you'll be doing a disservice to yourself.

Todd's a psychopath. No conscience as normal people experience it. His eagerness to please others is manipulative.

I think the last scenes were pretty obvious. Atleast; what was going to end up happening..I still can't call on who will leave the desert besides the Aryans but I feel like there might be some unlikely partnership coming up..

Best single moment of the episode?

Blue shirt, nice. Zafiro.

So what is the significance of Saul's pink shirt? 8)

the pre-order is up for the complete collectors edition on blu ray. debating on whether i should go for this or a cheaper version with less of the memorabilia and extras

Ep13 was a blast . . . . !!

If one person has to die in the gunfight it's going to be Gomez, surely . . . Hank, Jesse and Walter are too important to the story.

Maybe Hank will escape somehow but he's injured and everyone will presume he died out in the wilderness . . . .
Maybe Jesse is taken hostage and forced to cook for the gang . . . .

It looks like this epic show will get the ending it deserves :)

Post Re: I heart Breaking Bad
While I still enjoy the show, I just don't get everybody going nuts over it as if it were the second coming of Christ. Anyway, my prediction as to how everything will play out:

If anybody dies in that shootout, it'll be Gomez. Hank and Jesse will get away while Walt'll be abducted and faced with the prospect of being forced to cook for Lydia more than once. Hank will be forced to go on record about the whole thing after Gomez's death. Skylar will commit suicide. Jesse will try to help Walt, only to die in the process by Todd's hand. Marie will go nuts and be extremely irritating, once more. Hank will shoot her and then himself. Walt will escape the idiot Nazis and go into hiding with Saul's help. He'll then prepare to go on a righteous rampage to avenge everybody's deaths. Lydia will get the best of him, though. Saul lives. The end.

Pink has been characterized in the show to foreshadow death. For example,,

Pink Teddy in S2 which can be associated with Gus and Jane's death

Walt's pink sweater he wore right before the plane crash

Saul's pink shirt before a big shootout

Baby holly's pink outfits including a pink bear outfit (?!?!?!)

Huell has really tiny feet supporting that giant body. Did anyone else notice that? That scene where he's sitting and Hank is questioning him. Looked like he was wearing baby shoes.

Cool! And in case it wasn't obvious, that's why I was talking about the Schrader home details in "Rabid Dog." They suggested a Wild West shootout to come.

Is there anyway that you guys think Hank could possibly die next episode? I want Gomey out of the picture anyway... Even if only Gomey dies, how the hell is Hank gonna get out of this one? Walt is obviously fine, and I suppose Jesse could make a run for it. Either way shit has hit the fan, and I can't wait for next week.

Yes they definitely saw Jesse in the car.. I'm certain that they did, there was a specific shot of one of them looking at the window, and Jesse ducking down. Unless they didn't know what Jesse looked like, than they saw him.
