Maybe I'm just being impatient but it seems like a big chain like Target would pretty much be the same everywhere so I'm just not getting why some stores are getting them while others are not. I'm not buying the select stores deal. I seriously doubt they would give local managers that much power to say yeah or nay on getting them. Couple that with the lame ass email saying 'discontinued'. Just confused. Here's that photo from the link I posted:

This is what WE SHOULD be seeing in every Target not just a few scattered stores across the country.

I can tell exactly where that should be in the store from the photo  Halloween section (not cereal aisle), facing the back wall

Post Re: Monster cereal
LOL^ yeah I figured that one out by venturing to Target one too many times. First few trips I began in the cereal aisle, slowing moving back to the seasonal section. Now I skip cereal and go straight for the back (facing the wall). I'm quite sure my local Target thinks I'm a nutter if I'm observed on camera. I wander around impatiently in the back, throw my hands up in the air when I see- yet again no cereals, then quickly exit.

I have three Targets within ten miles of me and only one had the cereal. The other two are way behind and barely have any Halloween out. It can't be too much longer for the rest to show up. Also I think they changed the flavor of them a little Count is a little less chocalaty

I've been to two Target's in the last week, and nothing. Each store had about three thousand Halloween items available....but no monster cereal. I even went to one that has a big ass grocery store in it, and checked the cereal aisle......to no avail.

If I find some, i'll buy extras Lixx.

Target in Chula Vista on 4th Ave and C Street has them. This is assuming that your location note is correct and you are in San Diego. They were at the back of the Halloween candy display facing a wall.

No cereal at my Target yet... but I did find the Jones Soda Halloween flavors! I don't think they've done these for the past few years. Ignore the man in the seasonal aisle excitedly loading soda into his cart.

The flavors are Candy Corn, Caramel Apple, Licorice and Blood Orange this year. Same mini cans as the past couple times.

My Target barely has anything out for Halloween yet. They still have Back-to-School stuff out. I did find Monster Cereals at 2 different Krogers though. My friend works at one of them and called me the day they came in to let me know. So I had a couple boxes before they hit the store floor. My favorite now is Fruity Yummy Mummy, which I had never tried before this year.

BTW, Krogers here has a deal where if you buy 5 boxes you save $5. So they are $1.50 each if you buy 5.

Post Re: Monster cereal
I just went to Tops and picked up two Count Chocula, a Frankenberry & Boo Berry. Was sick of waiting for Target to get their act together. Although the supermarket was located right next to Target so I peeped in and they are finally setting up Halloween stuff. No Fruit Brute or Yummy Mummy but maybe I'll check back tomorrow. I'm having a complete sugar crash right nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....

Finally had them at my nearest Target, but just Frute Brute and Yummy Mummy. I used to have some Frute Brute stickers as a kid, too bad these didn't come with anything like that.

On a side note, Target had a life size fairly accurate skeleton Halloween prop for 40 bucks!

Congrats on finding some Jeff. I am still trying to track some down in Toronto, but haven't seen word that these are north of the border yet (if they are even coming). We don't even get the 'normal' versions.

Hey all, I'm new here so if this was covered I apologize. Don't trust the GM cereal locator on their website. It says there is nothing in my area, but I was able to find them at Super Target!! Just a heads as it seems that's the only place to get the retro boxes.

Agreed!! My wife informed me I was a small child for buying more than one box. Guess she was right!
