A bit confused, how do we get our name in to be a part of all this awesomeness?

You can read previous post and realize this book is full.

If it makes it through everyone and still has space I will add, or make another book. We will see how this book goes first.

A more apt question might be, 'where are we?'

Another call out for anyone who knows Shradical. He has the moleskin and is not responding to email or PM's

Post Re: The SB Moleskine Project--SEE LAST ENTRY FOR DETAILS!!
Oh man, don't tell me this is yet another one of the SB moleskins that has bitten the dust. This is such a great project and is also one of the biggest disappointments on the forum. Really guys and gals, if you are not going to keep the project going, or even bother passing it along, then don't bother signing up in the first place. People put a lot of their love and time into making artwork for the book, and it just pisses me off to no end that some folks would toss it aside like it meant nothing. Look, if you lost one of these, or are a total scatterbrain that can't honour the committment you opted in for, then you shouldn't have put your name down - at least own up to your blunder the rest of us know what is going on. These books are a real compilation of all the creativity and talent on SB, and to see it go to waste is shameful and disrespectful.

Maybe we need to have people draw on individual pages and then send all of them to one person to be bound. Not really "moleskine" but the last 3 haven't worked out...maybe someone could buy special paper and send it out to whoever wants to be included

That's less in the spirit of the continuation of the first page and more like "here's a bunch of art this forum did" I think..

I was hoping that the last person to get it would pop up as I was excited to see how this plays out. Would anyone be interested if I started a new one (or two for better chances at survival)? I'm game if enough other people are!

I was thinking the same thing. We should get this started up again.

Maybe one of the books could be that one long folded sheet they call Japanese bound.
Then each person could continue on from the last.

That's what they started with but all if them take forever to circulate and are eventually lost

Ok knew I should have skipped him, because he hadn't logged into Skullbrain for so long. Eckotyper did you have an email for him? I would like to try to get in touch with him even if it does nothing.

Yeah, book three was moving along very well, I was excited to see it through. Now one person kills it all.

Post Re: The SB Moleskine Project--SEE LAST ENTRY FOR DETAILS!!
Ok guys so I have a decent size Moleskin that im all for starting and sending out.

But I don't want the same crap happening, its a goddamn shame. So I was thinking that this puppy only gets sent to decent board members that are not going to screw this up for the 4th time.

How do we go about selecting is where I am stuck. Any suggestions?

Here is what I came up with since I posted, It may sound douchey, but I think losing the book 3 times is worse.

Whoever signs up to do some work, has to put up a deposit, I am thinking the cost of the book itself.
Once the book is handed off to the next member in line, you get your deposit back and so on.

How's that sound?

Its not the same then, the moleskin grows and feeds off each entry. Too bad a few jackasses screw it all up.

I'm still looking for Shradical's email if anyone has it.

People would have to fold the paper over or the end product will not look all that great...

(Not my pic but it shows basic binding construction)

I bind and repair books for fun so if you guys want to do this I can help.

With that said I think assembling a digital book might be the best way to go. We'd have to change the theme because it would not be from one drawing to the next...But...Nobody would run of with it and everyone involved could get a copy.

You could still do some continuous pages, just have 2/3 people per page

Or the digital method would be pretty simple to make continuous
