Considering the d-bags Mishka is in bed with, I'm surprised that this dick hole isn't running the SF store. I have no doubt that he has a working relationship with these NYC hype machine artists since it's obviously more about the money than art/toys to them

250k? I doubt it, but I don't doubt he's flipped enough and not reported a dime to the IRS. So who's calling, Kozik?

This typo absolutely works, in context... his creepy little underling grother...

How does someone with so little real charm and charisma marshal so much help (even if some of them are family) for his schemes?

By paying them?
if you look at what he's charging and consider the cost of the toys at retail... I'm sure there's plenty left over to compensate the people who wait in line at cons, do the lotteries, etc.

The REAL employees- the ones that really make him who/what he is- are the people (some of whom are on the board) who buy toys from him because the prospect of NOT owning something is outweighed by supporting such an unethical dick.

No. They are both a problem. But the second one is a far worse problem. Manipulating peoples passion to your own personal ends is nothing short of extortion. In no way am I attacking you Alex, I am just about fed up with all of this. It's pretty much the state of things and I can't get over it lately. I am pretty vexed after NYCC and I really just want this hobby to have a real purge of the Toxic people that feel the need to hide in its back alleys.

Post Re: Don't trust 'Sam' or 'Elizabeth Record'
Hey guys. It was brought to my attention that I should update the topic to include a list of Sam's known aliases (here, eBay, elsewhere). So, I put a small update at the top of the first post, but I'm sure there are more names to be added. Want to provide the known aliases (here - not via PM), and I'll compile them in the first post?

Sucks that this thread even has to be alive still... Hasn't that guy ended up in prison yet?

Perhaps politics. Sam's actually quite loyal to the circle he runs with, which includes hookups & the lot. So as long as it's not them he's targeting, it's not a problem... If Sam was hooking you up w' Nags, what would you do?..

There are politics to all things, and to butcher a quote from a friend, there's more to the vinyl curtain than we actually see at face value... Notice how many "old timers" don't participate in the debates about Sam. You know who you are  , ha, but seriously, I'm not kidding.

Now regardless of that grey area in which we live, there are acts that can only be described as criminal, and it's just a matter of time before things go sour for Sam. It's textbook, Especially when money's involved...

People that we know are buying from someone who they know defrauds other people that we know, because, like I said.. the thought of missing out on that Hevi or Nag overrides the concern for other people's problems with him. When he shows up at NYCC with a bag of toys and you buy one- that's part of the problem. It's not the whole problem and it's not as bad as fraud, but it keeps him circulating.

Not like anyone's going to catch you...ten of you dress up like Princess fucking Leia and how's he going to know which one is which if you all go in separate directions?

The idea that there IS a debate is absurd.

I don't know what you're implying about "old timers" not talking about this shithead. A toxic waste dump of people ruined what used to be a really cool community, and it gets tiresome talking about it with the very people who are responsible. There's no vinyl curtain. There's just decent people trying to protect themselves from being sucked into a pit of bullshit over toys.

I'm not kidding either.

Ditto (to most of that)!

But pay attention to what you're reading. 1st off, NEVER would I say EVERY old-timer, nor did I. Ha, that's not even the point anyway, although it isn't "noobs" he's dealing off the top with. And OF COURSE there are secrets behind the scene, as there are in every scene! Make sure you see that I wrote "as there are in every scene" before you accuse me of attacking vinyl toy collecting now... But what I wrote isn't an opinion anyway, ha, it's what is. Facts, they're called. Hell, most of those aren't even my words (they're "old timers"!). But you're right, it's a skeezy shame, because it does ostracize the community, and 1 of the reasons most of us will never see some of these figures... Yadda yadda yadda, we obviously agree. Overall point, & scarwars nailed it, as long as people support Sam, he'll keep on keepin on. But I ask you, if he was hooking you up w' the best of the best, would you care what he does to anyone else? Because this is a 100% accurate occurrence (does that help?). I'd hope I wouldn't, but I shot Sam down too long ago to even mull over the possibility, let alone the opportunity to cross that naggy bridge. Still happy about it too.

Hi All - I'm a regular on the Circus Posterus forums, and wanted to cross post here some more details about our beloved Sam Dewitt.

He bid on a couple pieces of mine on ebay. I didn't realize who it was until I went to make the shipping label. I saw his name and shut the sale down. Now I get to deal with that mess.

But...Now I can share more information, including his ebay handles:

Well, belated welcome to the forum, just sorry it had to come under these circumstances. You got to wonder why ebay would even allow a user to change their username in that frequency, particularly without logical justification (e.g. confusion with another user), and especially with a person that has this past history of feedback and issues which I have no doubt ebay knows well about.

Anyhow, already paid this more attention than he deserves.

Love the username by the way! :) (yours, not his, of course)
