I came across in the local paper here in portland when I saw this headline and review... "Bad Milo Is a Movie About a Butt Demon
Someone actually sat down at a computer, with you in mind, and thought: "Poop and butts are gross and funny. Weird things coming out of butts: also gross and funny. I'll write a hit script with a lot of all that."
And then enough people agreed that you'd like this idea that an actual movie was made, paid for in actual dollars. And they named that movie Bad Milo and it's in theaters mocking you as we speak."

Dammit! I just wrote a long-ass recommendation and my browser crashed as I was clicking submit!
Okay, short version: The Duplass brother produced it; the cast includes Ken Marino, Peter Stormare, Puddy and Stephen FUCKING Root; and the beastie is a latex puppet - I'm talking Belial, I'm talking the Critters, I'm talking goddam E.T.! Not a single string of code, people!
I promise you that this particular poop-centric motion picture respects your intelligence a hundred times more than 90% of what all else has been shat into theaters this decade. Dare to be stupid.
Don't read about about, just watch it as a double feature with Hell Baby. Tomorrow!

David you and I are meant to be friends. Like I know we are but this seals it. Just went and saw this at the local theater it was perfect. Plays out like a Hennenlotter flick. So well done!!

Ha, glad to see this pop up here!
I just had the pleasure of watching this gem a few days ago.
Bad Milo's an instant family classic. So throw out your E.T.'s, kiddies, & restock w' this touching tale of 1 man's coming of age story and the butt-full of fun adventures that follow!

Re: Bad Milo
Toilet humor comedy horror is honestly sort of a new style... Have you seen "Tucker and Dale vs Evil" yet? It sorta fits.
There are a LOT of awesome tounge-in-cheek horror films (new & old), but comparatively you'll notice a big difference. "Tucker and Dale vs Evil" may actually fit in this category more... "Teeth" & "Jennifer's Body" have already been mentioned... If you haven't experienced the kick-ass t.i.c. scare flick - "Return of the Living Dead" yet, JUMP on it! Tis' the season anyway. Again though, none of these are really of the same type, but Still fun!
Hmmm, I watch 2-3 movies a day at least, so I may be able to come up w' some more...

Re: Bad Milo
I'll let you know if I find a worthy third out there; those two films were the shining floaters of the fecal sea!
The Godfather of this stuff, not the toilet part, is obviously Frank Henenlotter, so there's always dusting off your video tapes and re-visiting his career... but the first thing that's coming to mind to recommend to you that you might not be familiar with happens to also be the finest film that 1987 had to offer --- Street Trash! If you've never given that one a sitting I demand that you rectify that situation immediately!

Re: Bad Milo
Oh Yes! "Street Trash" must be added.
In the same vein, there's "Dead Alive" & "House II".
Ha, I still don't feel like I'm accurately answering your question, Jesse. Ha, I love you you put it, David, "... those two films were the shining floaters of the fecal sea!"
I'd say "Black Sheep" is kinda an inbetweener. Ha, there are some REALLY hilarious parts to this one. Oh, and I'm not talking about the Chris Farley gem, but rather one of carnivorous weresheep aaand a lil light petting

Re: Bad Milo
Zombeavers is pretty fun. Not as good as Tucker & Dale, but worth your 90 minutes, 'specially since it's available on Netflix.
Don't forget, we've got this thread going on, and many/most of these flicks have been discussed:
