deets of the blopus painted Hanawa piece

Invoice for the deep sea battle set paid in full. I'm pretty excited for this one. I think the kai thunder sculpt is perfectly suited for Blobpus's painting style. These two will look great with my RAOH.

That's how I feel too. I recently bought a Raoh and I think these will look great with it like you said. I've been wanting a Kai Thunder, but I couldn't pass on the set of the two together.

I'm in agreement with you folks, gnarly sea monsters like these are the bee's knees. And GID is icing on the cake. LOVE Gorgonzola's back in this set.

^ It is a consensus, my Raoh and Kai Thunder currently sit next to each other on a shelf. When I get the Blobpus version I'll probably swap the Kai Thunder so the similar paint apps can sit side by side. They are both shelf hogs, but man, I love them.

I hope I got my preorder in on time, wanted a Kai thunder since I saw them, for me its toy perfection

The other thing with this set is the Gorgonzola paint. I've always really liked this sculpt but was never moved to buy one because of the paint. Kaji really elevated this toy with this paint app.

Seems like he's hanging on for a few extra preorders, I thought the Kai thunder would have been a real popular preorder but I'm getting the feeling that's not the case. If love to get a blank GID one, wonder if he'd accept an order and not paint haha

I know with some of these releases the occasional one-off gets sent out to a lucky customer, but I love the normal versions so much that I hope I get the normal release. Sounds odd to say but they look that good to me.

What makes you think the KT isn't doing well ? Just curious if I'm missing something.

Please forgive me in advance for the oversized pic heavy upload but I had some serious "toy nerd" fun today with every Blobpus Dokugan I possess in the old collection.. my cousin came over that does wedding photography on the side and he just has a way WAY better camera than I do so we set up his lamps and got some really fun shots knocked out despite the weather being super windy here in Tampa this afternoon.. little guys kept falling over left and right and had to keep re-positioning them.. hope all you guys & gals enjoy the imagery.. Blobpus Rules....!!!

Your not missing anything, it just felt like the preorder was kept open past the set date, I would have thought if it was a really popular preorder it would have been more strict or like i've seen in some cases close early. It was just a feeling i got I could be very much mistaken. I ordered the Kai thunder myself

It only ends early if there is a set number and it reaches it before the date. If it's an open order, there is no reason to close early. Also sometimes people ask for a longer close date, which Kaji will sometimes honner.

Just some food for thought. I highly doubt these did bad, I'm still betting this was the more popular choice.

it's a regular release, the frozen version. i think it came out about the same time as the christmas dokugan, but i don't remember 100%

yeah' that frozen one is an older X-mas Dok that glows in the dark.. there is only one custom in the bunch that was done by Buffmonster, a cyclopas version.. kinda grey with a solid pink eye
