In 1980, on my birthday, my Mom took me to a little toy store and told me I could 'buy whatever I wanted'. We were kind of poor, so that was a big deal. I bought Krusher and a GID Suckerman. I had my Krusher from 80-2007, when it was left in my house during a move and already taken by the time I got back the next day.

Things like this that really hold meaning are what makes his hobby so much fun, and probably at the root of why a lot of us got into this too. Thanks for sharing him.

He's one of three that I own and I'm bidding on another.  Weird thing about this toy is that sometimes when he shows up on eBay, he's $28. Sometimes (in the same week) he pops up for $200. There's no consistency. So I snag the cheap ones. Because having a lot of them is more fun.
