 Re: collection pics
Great set up Brian! Even though I'm sure it's literally a ton of work, that has to be quite rewarding going through your entire collection. Not to mention fun to set up. In toy collecting the step ladder eventually becomes your best friend, I know I use one! Did you have those shelves built? They look sharp.
18" Giant Size Walking Mirrorman looks gigantic! Five V3 Masudaya light ups?! Wow! That whole pic, along with all of them packaged blew a circuit in my brain.

 Re: collection pics
Fantastic collection shots as always Brian, thanks for posting them. We could practically have a weekly display column on each one of those cabinets, heck, even just shelf-by-shelf. I really like your setup, especially with the wood cases and highlighted lighting. The Masudaya sparkers are definitely one of the coolest vintage lines. It is funny, I have seen that V3 display a few times too, I wonder why they are 'more common' (relatively of course). Typically finding store display stuff is next to impossible.

WOw. Congratulations on that beautiful display cabinetry (stuff in the cabinets is pretty nice too )! Looks amazing. I look at those images and feel like I've eaten Four Greasy cheesburgers...too much toy cholesterol goodness *burp!*

Incredible, Brian! I hope you'll eventually post more close-ups so we can all drool even more. And I love the cabinets - so tastefully done. I have serious toy room envy.

The toys inside are pretty good too. Yes, but did you notice those ceilings? Brian, you should open your toy cavern and turn it into a museum!

I keep wanting to use the expression: "The Deathstar is almost operational." I'm pretty sure it applies to Brian's massive collection in it's current state from those pics. Please more individual shelf shots

 Re: collection pics
I'll sign up for a Friends of Flynn Museum membership. That reminds me, on a somewhat related note, was there not some plan or discussion to have a regular 'featured collector' segment/article? As the magazine shifts to online, I am sure this is still something a lot of us would be interested in seeing, particularly for the vintage crowd. Not only to see the toys, though of course that is a major part of it, but also to compare display styles, hear firsthand stories about what got people into collecting, what grails they have/had, pieces of the collection that hold special meaning to them, etc. I guess it is hard to organise direct interviews/visits logistically (and financially of course) but maybe at least for the locals in the area? It could be something that we might be able to outsource to 'regional' SB chapters; submit small write-ups to standard questions, short videos, pics, what-have-you. I am just throwing ideas out there. I just know I love to see and learn about people's collections (and not in the terrible Collection Intervention way).

 Re: collection pics
^ Cool idea!
And great collection, obviously, Brian. But from prior photos, it seems that you have a lot that is not on display. Just curious, why are the apparent Bullmarks (e.g., Godzilla, Anguirus) on the top shelf on the left side of the overall photo separate from the others on the right side? Are those modern M1Gos?

 Re: collection pics
^ Thanks for bringing this pic to the next page Moog. I get all weepy just looking at the motorcycles....then I look around more and just shake my head in amazement. Hands down the best display cabinets and lighting too. I've always thought i wanted cabinets with a mirrored back, but the wood really adds to the display. Brian, just publish a book on your collection please

Hopefully we can get to more of this stuff up for everyone. Logistics make it tough, but not impossible.... ultrakaiju wrote: I'll sign up for a Friends of Flynn Museum membership. Re: collection pics
Nice photos and a beautiful collection you have there. You have a lot of gems in that mix, including a Zone Fighter motorcycle I don't think I have even seen before. I really love the Zaboga and Ace collections (even if making me incredibly jealous!).

@blue227 Are those Ninja Captors the mask-off ones? Either way, I love the designs and colors on those guys! Great collection!

The picture is sort of old. I'm missing only the blue one now if anyone has any leads on how to get the last one to complete my set.
