I am getting really pissed off with ebay [re]sellers who are clearly buying up vintage toys whenever they can find them cheap (you know who they are, I know who they are) and then listing them for just laughably ridiculous prices, not knowing - or just not caring - what the going rate is. Yeah, I know this is all about making as much profit as you possibly can, but give me a break. Is there really that many people out there who are going to get suckered in without realising it, that this has become the norm? Fuck. Hock your toys in your own online flipper store then. The number of them is increasing, and the prices are increasing. It is bad enough how hard it is to get vintage this side of the Pacific, but idiots like this are throwing out of whack any sense of pricing as people go to the 'bay as a gauge to sell their stuff. Fuck you, someone could have enjoyed all those toys you have piling up in your flipper's warehouse.

Fuck is right. I was there this week too. Totally misread/calculated the time I was supposed to be bidding. Yeah, I know I should have just placed a bid earlier, and it is completely my own fault for being such a stupid turd, but it sure does not help to alleviate that missed out on something you have been desperate for feeling.

I feel you on missed auction times. I don't understand why eBay won't let you customize your settings to show auction end times by the time zone you live in! It would not be hard to do. Fuck those lazy assholes.

OKay, here is a question. Why the hell do sellers post the question you send them by email on auctions? I mean, yes, in some cases the information might be relevant to other bidders, but I would argue that in those situations, the seller ought to just revise the description to reflect the pertinent information. More often than not, my questions are very specific to me personally, and I don't appreciate them being posted up for everyone to read. Doubly so when they put my name on it! Who thinks that is a good idea? I wish I could actually say this happened to me infrequently.

And, since I am outing myself now (anyone watching the auction would have realised it anyways, but) I might as well grip - yet again - how bidder restrictions for international people is about the most inane thing I have ever heard of. As if we don't have enough to suffer with exorbitant shipping costs, ridiculous duty fees, and long delivery times. WE have to incur the additional costs and WE are taking on all the risk. I don't get why a seller would insist on excluding people "just because." It is their prerogative of course, people are free to do what they want, but to me it makes no sense, and I think it is wrong.

You know- fuck professors at colleges. Your lectures suck, you don't teach, and most of your tests involve the memorization game. Any muppet can memorize. In fact you don't even make up the homework. It's all online through pre made mastering questions and then you pull some of the same questions for test material. The biggest thing that bothers me is their absolute laziness in returning exam grades and posting final grades. They b*tch and moan that they have 150-200 students to give grades to but you know what? How the fuck hard is it to average 5-6 grades in your book 150-200 times? That's like a homework assignment a 7 year old can do. 5 numbers added and divided by 5. YET they take weeks to post them. That line about jobs from Departed comes to mind:

FU to the low-life scumbag who stole my week old Samsung Galaxy smart phone. We have him on surveillance tape easing himself into position while i was busy with another customer. He had to reach over tons of obstacles to grab it from behind the counter. It was a gift from Gino, my boss. He says insurance will get me another one but that doesn't ease my overwhelming hatred for blatant thieves.
