The monkey on the tricycle is Amedio from 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother. I love how they stuck anything and everything on tricycles like that...
The Moog - There's a lot of Japanese dolls similar to that around, from the style of the eyes I would guess it was quite a bit older than 10 years, I'm no expert though

Re: "cute " vinyls
^^^ Yeah, the eyes are certainly Japanese style, which is the main reason i bought it. (that - and the fact it cost me only 10p).
Its definitely not a recent doll but its hard to guess exactly how old it is . . . .

got this elephant (marked "made in hong kong") at a flea market in kentucky this past weekend. he seemed like a perfect companion for this fat, cell-phone wielding mouse i've had for a couple years.

Found this in an old junk shop for 20p.
I would imagine there was a rubber tube connected at the back to blow into and fluid contained in the blown-glass. You blow in the tube and it made him look like he was having a pee.

Love this one. The manufacturing stamps are 'Made in Ireland' and 'Made in the Republic of Ireland'. The only others i've seen of these were fully painted with different wheels . . . i like this retro looking version best to be honest.
Roughly 9" High and 9.5" Long . . . so quite large and chunky. The wheels are blow-moulded plastic, the rest is one-piece of soft vinyl with a squeaker underneath.
The wheel axles are purposely bent so when it moves the snail leans side to side in a pleasing manner!
If i had to guess i'd say its from the 60's but it could be 50's, 60's, 70's or 80's . . . i have no idea. Very little info online - if anyone can tell me the manufacturer or anything that would be cool.

Nice post, Moog By '92 I was a couple of years "too old" for Happy Meals, and these gems completely slipped under my radar. Looks like there was a corn guy too (for the under 3 age group)...
I seriously had no idea Mickey D's was running health awareness campaigns that long ago...
Oh man! That snail is very interesting. It remits me to The Neverending Story. That mammalian face makes it so cute! Being made in Ireland adds to the rarity I guess. Very nice score.

Yeah, the corn guy doesn't transform like the others but it looks like he is considered part of the set. I will be keeping an eye out on ebay for him, he's pretty cool. I bought the set mainly for the steak guy with the shades . . . .

Thanks, the sellers photo made it look orange so i was happy to find out it's a nice pink when i received it in the post! I do see them pop-up on ebay occasionally but they are usually fully painted like these two:
Some info i just found online suggests these were made my a company called J.L. Prescott in the late 1960's.
