Those are great. Why is it unfair? These guys haven't even been released yet- who's to say if they are difficult to come by or not yet? Have some faith!

As must-have OG fink matchers - I was tempted to go the middle-man route - but decided to hold out in hope they are available through legit channels. Time will tell - but hoping my faith wont result in an SOL situation. Fingers crossed.

It seems that any toys that show up on hirotas site are not for me...not by choice! If I had to choose one..I would hope to score red.

Full Frontal of the King. 12" tall and 10.75" wide (arms lifted). Vinyl is on the softer side. Still a hefty and sturdy specimen.

"Hung out with the lead singer of Pantera and had him sign my toy." Is that what this photo is about? I want a back story.

Judging by his doodle I'd guess that he's not into the toy.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyrann
Is anyone able to shed some light on that rakugaki business? I tried searching the web and understand that "rakugaki" translates to something along the lines of "doodle" or "graffiti", but couldn't come up with any explanation as to why light blue toys seem to be considered rakugaki versions or why it apparently is encouraged to add a personal touch to those?

Some Japanese words do not have an exact english translation and can have a range of similar explanation. In the case of rakugaki to vinyl toys that we collect it generally means to perform your own custom to it whether painting or simply drawing on it with a marker. The color of the vinyl does not matter as long as it's blank.

This is actually the first instance that I learned the term "Rakugaki". Great game indeed! That, and then Onitsuka came out with a pair of "Rakugaki" Tigers that had "doodle" like stitching. They were pretty cool. Doodling is the best.
