 S E A H A W K S ! ! ! !
Not many northwesterners on this board, so have to step up & say "GO SEAHAWKS"!!! They fucking dominatated. I really expected a closer game, but I am certainly not complaining.

I was expecting a much better game. That was just destruction. I wanted the hawks to win but I do feel a little bad for Peyton.

As a Pats fan I was so happy to see Manning get crushed!

Was happy they won. Now my wife might get a new football field or something for the kids at her school because of it. They will be retiring Sherman's HS Football number this week

 Re: S E A H A W K S ! ! ! !
Ha! I didn't even think there was any other fans on here. I thought about starting a thread even leading up to their playoff run, and the championship, but thought it would be dead in the water. Anyhow, nice to see a few other appreciative folks, even if it is only people so happy to see Manning crash and burn (which I am sure there are a few of). Got to say that was a complete domination. Even as a fan, you kind of want it to be a close game, to be more thrilling, but of course I am happy with the outcome. While football is not by biggest following, I am completely thrilled to be able to actually cheer on one of my teams to a championship - it happens rarely - and for the 'Hawks to pick up their first is great for the team. Got to say, the 12th man came through this season, and the Seahawks played their game right up until the end. Building up a team from late rounders, undrafted guys, and UFAs and taking them to this level of play is a great testament to the work of the GM and especially Carroll and the coaching staff to bring it all together. A young, strong team, without any huge names and playing a great defensive game, that is exactly what I love! Congratulations Seahawks!

I was happy to see the Seahawk's take it, but I'm not a Manning hater at all. I'm assuming the entire Denver defensive line is going to get their walking papers tho

 Re: S E A H A W K S ! ! ! !
seahawks knocked off my Niners... I really thought that Manning would dominate... from the start of the game it looked bad.... It's great for the seahawks fans, but damn such a boring game since it was one sided. Manning got his ass handed too him. I still feel Russell Wilson is nowhere near a top 10 QB though... It shows also because he didn't even win the MVP. Sorry though MVP this year got a Truck, last year was a Stingray Vette.
all in all it was great defense, but such a boring game when most went in thinking it would be such a good game. I said it to many friends before the conference championship that whoever won between niners and seahawks would win the superbowl.
congrats pats... theres a rivalry, but that is only when we play each other. I can easily say you guys were the dominant team this year.
also... I did chuckle when the *best corner in the league* did get hurt though

I don't follow NFL, but I'm happy Seattle won. They're the only NFL team I have any sort of interest in. And despite it being a "boring" game, it was also quite entertaining due to the way Seattle scored a good portion of their points: safety, interception, kick-off return. Those are all fun to see, even if they all went to the same team. And really, I'd rather have a "boring" Seattle win than an exciting Denver win.

Loved every second of this game. It seemed like everyone had written off the Seahawks and went on and on about Payton. It was fantastic to watch them botch this at every turn. the only thing that could have made it better was if they didn't score any points. Chargers fan for life but Whoooo Hooo Seahawks

 Re: S E A H A W K S ! ! ! !
I don't follow football anymore but I fucking hate the Seahawks! So fucking sick of hearing about their 12th man and how jacked up their players are in interviews. Simmer down I say...Not a Manning fan BUT I was a huge Denver/Elway fan back in the day so I was definitely hoping for the Broncos to burst their bubble and make them feel like it was the 80's all over again. Besides the Seahawks were AFC West division basement dwellers for what their first 25 years?
Oh and they have the worst uniforms of any sports team I can think. Helmet is sort of cool because it at least kept the original logo- but lose those awful "futuristic numbers", nike symbols and bad solid pants. Are they the Seatlle Nikes or Seahawks? Then again Denver should revert back to the old "D" with horse logo.

^^^^^^^^ I think a good few of us on here Lixx that have followed your posts can pretty much agree you hate everything. So hating the Seahawks was a given. We all got together earlier with Biff and said when you post this, be aware Lixx is gonna post on here that he absolutely hates the Seahawks

Nahhh there are many things I like, tons in fact- but I'm more inclined to voice what I don't like. People tend to focus on that for some reason. I'm like Larry David in a sense, what does he say in Curb? I like to watch the air sucked out of an arena when the home teams loses!

 Re: S E A H A W K S ! ! ! !
LOL. I actually don't have a dog in this fight. I haven't watched football since the early nineties. Till then watched every super bowl from 1974-1990, fan of the Steelers in the 70's. I only busted in because I use to be a big Denver Broncos fan. I think I stopped watching after they got blown out by the 49'ers. Couldn't take it after they had already lost to the Redskins and Giants. Hockey is my jam, has been for longer than football. Incidentally I hope Seattle gets the next hockey expansion team, oh and the Supersonics had the best basketball uniforms besides the Trailblazers.
