I got a new figure in the works, from Unbox Industries. Today they posted an image of the digital rendering, so I'm sharing it here.

He will be a rather large figure, made in Hong Kong, probably about 9 inches tall. Unbox very generously spent a ton of extra time on the digital rendering, to include anatomical details that can be exposed and viewed.

As far as the creature itself, in Greasebat world, giant monsters have been somewhat domesticated and put to military and industrial use. This guys natural heavy armor and strength make him well suited for deep space mining operations. A few modifications to his mouth ( rock crushing metal jaws) and breathing apparatus = instant deep space digger.

Unfortunately, this particular one ( number 5 ) escaped when his transport crashed, and has been on a violent rampage since.

Thanks my friends. It'll look something like this image. I'm not sure of the details yet, like how the removable skin works or if the internal organs are 3 dimensional. I've seen the digital renderings from my sketches, and it appears that the internal organs are separate chunks of vinyl. We shall see!

Haha! My friend use to have little official looking stickers that said "do not place in mouth or rectum" and he'd stick them on things at the grocery store etc. Always cracked us up.

I can't wait to see what Unbox does with the removable skin, sounds amazing. I hope it is a vinyl version of 80's toys with break away damage.

changed his name to GALACTIC STAR EATER , or just Star Eater for short.

Should be appearing soon! Clear/removable skin idea was too expensive to produce, so there will be a regular version and a anatomy cutaway version.

A couple more production sketches... along with the back story...

A mutated monster, about 8 stories tall, who's been captured and cloned for deep space mining operations.

Modified breathing apparatus and other life support devices for extremes of far away planets, including an accelerated circulatory system.

Powered jaw for ripping through veins of rock. Pincer claw for anchoring to meteorites. Chest light for illuminating deep inside tunnels or the dark side of planets.
His head was covered in a series of spikes, which have since worn flat from mining operations.

This one, known as Galactic Star Eater of Space Mining Division 5 (S M D 5) escaped when a transport containing 4 others crashed. He's no longer under the control of his Space Mining Division masters.

HEHEHE i can see !! my Studio has 3 of your silk prints and look fantastic ( need more prints from you ) , every time i need to get inspired i can look on them and see all simple made and same time lot of details and well done with everything on that pieces ( as you said , good idea as main point make things easier )
