As cool as it sounds I'm unsure if an 'International Fan Club' wouldn't be a lil' detrimental to collecting. Making SB readily available worldwide could blow it up and kinda take the 'fun' and 'thrill of the chase' out of it.

Too much of a good thing can sometimes take the edge off annd the politics of how it's set up can have a negative effect . . . the 'Thundermutt Club' over on the 'darkside' is a case in point

yeah i guess, it just sounds good ! i mean i like the thril of the chase but I don't like paying out of my ass!!!

I don't think having an int'l FC would demystify things at all. It would just mean having the same opportunity as collectors in Japan to pick up SB FC stuff. What's wrong with that?

I think the clear orange is far superior to the FC, I knew they would be painted but the promos looked alot better imo

I have to agree. Mine are kind of a tobacco-y muddy brown, kind of like something you'd find in a spittoon.

Not trying to bum anyone out, honest. Let me know what you think when yours arrive, Mori.

All good man, hoepfully mine will be waiting for me tonight.
I was more responding to the pics posted up on the previous page. The murky brown could be good, but easily be bad too. I'll chime in again when I see mine.

Unfortunately it was limited to TT and High Five.

I actually got a hold of High Five with the help of some kind folks here but they don't do phone orders.

I lucked out and got mine through TT the same day I called High Five.

I like the mukky messy look for a couple figures.
Something different from all the clean lines and colour recently.
Wouldn't want to see this be an ongoing style.

Looks like a greasemonkey attempted to clean them up after they fell into the oil pit at the garage...

Got mine in the mail yesterday, and really like them. The jar they come is a great touch too. They are really interesting held up to the light. I don't have my non-painted versions yet to compare, but I do like the FC set.

OK, here's my take: I have both regular and fanclub set (thanks to the man in Tokyo) - and I LOVE the FC set -it way improves on the already great clear orange set. Clear orange looks cool, but too clean for Halloween. The dirty set are where its at - and I am NOT saying that because they appear to be harder to get!!!
