I'll be curious if anyone can figure out the company. OK... found my pic: Photo was taken in 2009. I got it from a blog, but don't remember which one.  It's clearly a different sculpt, and I'm thinking blow molded. Could be vintage??? could also be uncleaned wax, but I dunnnooo...

I'm not really trying to single you out, but i wanted to comment as I've seen this criticism a lot. It really is hard to make a blobby or coil-like sculpt not look like a turd to people. We're immaturely hardwired for it in some ways, just like trying to make obelisks not look phallic.
