Answer: Stop buying at inflated prices.
Why: Altruistic reason: Prevent the cycle.
Why: Selfish reason: Save yourself money on something which will likely not be worth what you paid for it 5 yrs later...or less.
How: Do your homework/due diligence to get that new release when it first comes out at (or close to) retail. Paying out of the ass for something isn't just stupid - its lazy - pretty much anyone can save up and pay a crazy price for a recent release. Most of this shit (with a few exceptions) turns up later at a decent price. ... just wait it out. If you do - then you are more likely in it for the long haul.

I just got something Ive wanted since 2006 - all the more sweet I got it MIP for a decent price.

I'm curious as to know what this long awaited come up is myself! Carl's right, though. The biggest one is patience. I'm still new as shit to this whole thing, but one of the biggest happenings I notice are people that want something so bad they immediately pay out the booty for it shortly after its release, then complain about the flipper's market.

Cure have updated their website. Lots of great pics showing us toys to lust over and translatable pages. At least now we can read what it is exactly that we're missing out on. Also discovered that there is a gold Batcave Ghoul....somewhere. More for my wants list.

Anyone else get the vibe from the UO section that a 'new monster' is on the way? Would love to see Cure produce a new full size figure.

Any word on the Lulu Brain Bugs yet? Thought they were meant to be shipping out towards the end of this month, but I can't remember whether that was the painted or FL-V versions. Anyone know for sure?

i hope it would be soon, i've seen the painted brain bug on a couple of IG accounts overseas.

We're still waiting on word for shipment. Typically, Cure ships out closest to them first, then does US. Which is why we usually get Boogies and such much later than everyone overseas.

man alot has been going on on this thread since i posted last. ive been insanely busy with wedding preparations and getting ready to open a Barcade (find us on facebook "the baxter barcade"). i am also working on building a giant display case to go over the bar to display what boogies i have and some of the other kaiju things me and my brother have. we start final build out next month and im getting married in two weeks , so i will be busy as hell and any help with getting more boogies would be helpful. especially mishkas and pumpkin masks. thanks dudes. i don't have much to offer in return but i can make deals for ya from my site 20eyesco.com. thanks

Nice to see the the leopard back, shame about the rest of the colours. Bringing the torch back is nice too, just a shame it's for this guy. In a bizarre way though it's kind of comforting to be able to confidently pass on a Cure release - lets me save money for older (and much nicer) wants.
