flckr sucks unless u pay for the extra space.
I tried to upload my photos from japan trip 500+ and it will only display like 100 at a time on the junky account.
google picasa is better!

Flickr kicks serious ass - the free account is more than enough if you're not nuts (like i happen to be) - otherwise, it's pretty darned affordeable.
i've already met a bunch of awesome people, made connections and gotten hookups on paintings and such - it's been worth it to me so far.
Glad to see ya on flickr Glenn!! (now post jled pics and KO pics in the groups, damn you!)
oh and that flores painting that i drive you crazy about.

download flock which is a firefox based browser, it's got a lot of great features including a flickr picture uploader and a rss newsreader.
get a pro account on flickr, it's only $30

if you want to have more than 3 sets, get a pro account
the uploader works great on windows (drag and drop) but I haven't tried it on a mac yet
you can leave notes on particular parts of a picture so that if somebody hovers over that part, they see your note

it works well on my mac. one prob I have, not only on flckr, is partially grayed out pics. maybe its a dial up prob. I feel so 20th century.

It has a Mac plugin, but the bigger problem is comparatively tiny user base.

the loading tool does let you upload hundreds of photos at one time
check out the "Change license" section and be prepared as I already see some of my photos being used by toy selling websites...
