I saw a close up of one of these and the pearl-like effect on teeth and eyes is quite good. To bad that's about it when it comes to good points for this toy, I'm sure it sells well anyhow.

...and yeah this figure is just off to me. The pours and the quality are great but the chest, arms, head shape, are well....off. The proportions are just goony to me, and not in a good way. Those hairy amazon things are awful.

My first thought was it was some bad joke about the Hensel sisters.

Gotta say the paint on these is quite impressive regardless of peoples opinions about the sculpt itself.

The swirl/marble looks great, but not feeling the dress up though.

I had zero facination with the Cyco Ape up until this point, but to be honest, I actually do like this release. Not so much the loud hair colors, but everything else works IMO.

I REALLY like the one to the back-left.

Certainly couldn't justify mega hyped aftermarket prices. But I would have paid to buy that guy when it dropped.

You know to be fair I really just dislike most modern 2 headed figures in general. They seem mostly forced to me, so it's not just this figure that hasn't earned my affection in the toy world.

Lamour and I wanted to do a 2 headed ape for a while. We had some difficulties getting it made (originally it was just going to be an ape, not the cyco ape) When lamour painted the wall in mishka la the ape that he drew (the entire theme was supposed to be a lamour/skinner version of the old universal billboard) I was like we have to make that the two headed toy

I am generally not a fan of clothing but I thin think it works, and the best part you dont like it, you can GASP take it off!

Actually that helps hearing the back story. All I'm saying is every company puts out a two-headed beast and everyone goes "OOOOH" but not all of them are dope. Bemon yes, Max Toy's Dualos? NO.

This one isn't so bad I guess, I just assumed it was another company trying the two-headed thing, but at least there was some thought behind it. Carry on.
