and my girl got this at a local toy fare as i dont own any i have no idea if its real or not????? i'm suspecting not but ...anyhelp would be great...

red ones have been out before. ask Frank BxH, he'll even tell you her DnA strand.

does the other foot have a ink printed number on it?? all the ones I've had have an ink printed on one foot and then the other looked like the picture above.

The paint on the chest looks shabby for a real BxH piece-I've had several colored kuns and the paint is always tight and clean..

in this picture, the black skull kun and both reds are bootlegs. It is really hard to tell, because the bootleg's quality is great and identical. in material

I once heard an alleged rumor that the bootlegs were produced by the same company bxh uses in China, with the same exact molds. I have no clue as to the validity of this claim

It wasn't m uch cash wise the people she bought it off had a lot of good stuff that i know is official, but they also seemed to have some balzac boots....

In the S7 mag on Bounty Hunter, they do have the red version. It doesn't have any reference to bootleg version though.

tried to find out about my red set here before
but couldnt find anyone have reds with laser number.
so if there is anyone have the reds with lasered feet PLEASE show a pic!!!

Same kinda deal happened with the Jarvis Tattoo-me-Keith . . . a bunch showed up a few years after the original, perfect other than gloss finish on the painted areas (hair, pants etc).

I have no other BxH other than the Kaws but the pressed stamp in the foot looks a lil' 'soft' in comparison . . . the imprint on the Kaws x BxH seems real sharp and precise.

I got my reds direct so I know they are real I will look at the feet when I get in to the studio.

i have to agree about the paint on the chest... it usually looks quite good, that looks a bit sloppers though

don't know if i'd take it in a trade personally, but if i could find the boots (for a boot price of course) i'd buy em!!

ok.. so mine has matte white paint on the head and that imprint is much crisper, deeper and smoother on the foot.

no laser etch on mine.

now, I know mine is real, so it looks to me like yours is a high quality boot.

but who really knows.

it seems like they stopped the etch. all my clear ones have no numbers either.
