Anyone here is going to watch Bayern M v Real Madrid? I'm in for Madrid, but Bayern is a tough cookie! Not gonna be easy, even with the advantage. And I think BM played better than Madrid...
I would love to see Ancelotti's Madrid win the Champions League at the expense of Mourinho in Lisbon. That would be too perfect. : )

I was pulling for Chelsea, but still happy with an all Madrid final! I feel like a mega-bandwagoner now but hoping Atletico can take the cake. Liked them when Aguero and Forlan were on the squad but havent followed them closely since.

You know, I stopped watching soccer because of shit like that. And first game, what do you know. Yellow card instead of red, instead of this. Give me hockey any day of the week.
No penalty here. But here's the question. Is this the ref's fault? Or the player tricking him? I wonder... if I were a referee, would I be outsmarted by cheater players? Still, I don't think Brazil will win, even if somehow people think this game was fixed. This team does not have enough to get there.
Brazil is always benefited by FIFA, always put it in easy groups to ensure their place in the final. I love football but unfortunately how many things in life is just a business and on many occasions the sporting aspect is second. We can see on the Mexican team is practically owned by two TV stations and they take decisions which players enter the national team or who will be the coach. Corruption in football occurs in almost all leagues from Europe to America and do not think FIFA is the exception.

I've only seen twice in my life where a player 'confessed' to the ref that the call was wrong. When said players were actually being benefited. I think dishonest players are a problem but a few of these plays could be avoided with technology. Still, corruption, power and money are everywhere not just football. From the clothes you wear to the food you eat and other sports are not exempt either. And I know this... but there is passion and love for the game It's like John Oliver said, it's best to apply the sausage principle to football. If you love something, you better not find out how it's made.

Well, you've got the two biggest problems in soccer right there: diving players and corruption.
