The lips remind of a balloon animal. Or an inflatable pool.

That marbleing is cool, the toes and fingers are really great for the double pour.
I hope to be able to grab one.

Wish the unpainted wasn't $30 more expensive than the painted.

Re: UMMIKKO
^ but it's super rare and you can brag to all the kids that only got the painted version. I understand the extra step of marbling with this particular toy but I really hate how unpainted toys have become the cool thing to collect and get this fake perceived hyped value.

Re: UMMIKKO
^ A western phenomenon born out of the collector pissing contest of owning prototypes/blanks/unpainted versions of official runs.
The Japanese manufacturers I've spoken with about it are still largely perplexed with the fascination. Most see them as unfinished and lacking any character.
Seems to go hand in hand with the whole 'micro run'/blind-bagged/chase/lottery angle too, so why not make a few $$$ if 'completist thrill seekers' want to shoot for it.

Re: UMMIKKO
I've always found marbled blanks to be a bit more worthy of the price point 'cause of the extra effort that goes into the mold, and each one being so distinct from one another makes them somewhat of a one-off to me. I've personally never seen the allure of blanks, nor why they're so valuable and coveted. The only exceptions I've made are my Secret Base figs(for obvious reasons) and my MVH Sludge Demon 'cause it was a gift. I can't stand mixed parts blanks, either. Hideous to my eyes.
All that nonsense being said, I intend on trying for the both of these.

Re: UMMIKKO
I like blanks in specific colors(flesh for example)simply because it lets me appreciate the sculpt from an unaltered perspective. It lets me choose what to focus on rather then letting the paint tell me what to look at. It's almost like flipping through a sketch book rather then an art book. I respect and appreciate paints on toys and I know that is how most artists get their vision across to collectors but for me personally the sculpts have always been my favorite part.
It seems ridiculous that blanks could ever have more value then painted figures though.

Re: UMMIKKO
Blanks are so purty to look at... But something about paint. Everytime I get a new sculpt in hand the blank is an awesome toy or object, then when the paint goes on... the character comes to life. I can see the character living and breathing on this or another world. Now to get back on track. That sculpt is the balls. Can't wait to get mine.

I haven't seen any of these posted here yet, and it is just too good not to be added to this thread. I love the marbling so much.
