Backstory:

WAYYYYY back in like 2009 i first discovered the Sucklord.

Figured, hell, anyone can do that. So i grabbed an old ET toy and a crucifix i had lying round... (us Jews keep them at hand just in case...)

Turns out anyone CAN make a 1-ff mash-up - knife + glue + toys/things is pretty easy math, the hard part is making a mould and slinging that resin!

SO Enkki aka ETJesus sat round in my room for a while. Make that YEARS.

Then in like 2012 i joined GalacticJerkbags.

Enkki became my avatar for that site, people seemed to dig it.

THEN in 2013 i set up 'Art Whore' and got chatting with Peter Goral of 'Killer Bootlegs' about making runs of the little alien deity. Peter agreed but his damn fame led to him being busy!

So. The good sir Derrick of 'DLL Customs' stepped in.

Fast forward a few weeks...

Enkki has finally been born in resin!

Part of the reason i couldn't resist making the original mash-up was just how perfect the original ET toy was!

This little guy has a big attitude. I thought maybe he was a traveling bible salesman at first. You know, the savior schilling wares for his own religion.

And the whole immaculate conception thing was just because he was implanted by aliens. Yes, now that I think about it, your creation story makes much more sense.

DLL has been working so so so so damn hard at his craft. The results on his work have been exponentially improving, and quickly. God knows were he will be at in a year - yeah i'm biased obviously. BUT the results speak for themselves i think.

Mike man! What i really dug about the original ET toy sculpt was/is the fact the lunch-box thing also looks, well, exactly like a briefcase.

... and part of his adventure may indeed be spreading the good word of Enlill... Or The Source Family... Or The Family... The Theosophists, damn pagans, Sikhs, The Fugs.... whatever really.

I really wanted to get Australian artists on board for the whole ENKKI project, and was so glad that Giles was keen!

What he has done so far has met and exceeded my hopes i gotta say.
