Well if we are going to throw out suggestions for other characters, I have been thinking for some time that Iron King actually seems like the kind of smaller license, and perfectly suited character to Oohashi's aesthetic treatment, though the head doesn't seem right to be him this time around. Heck, that vintage bootleg figure is practically a Buta one already.

If there is anything that gets my heart a-flutter and the blood pumping, it is the annual (*or perhaps now semi-annual) Buta dream list. Pretty good testament to how much we appreciate Oohashi-san's creations about how excited we get for figures he might do toys of.

Hahaha, you know what? That is actually. Not. Bad. How that Jumborg Ace is not a '90s creation boggles the mind now looking at it. So ahead of its time. Wouldn't be my first choice for a Buta treatment, but I sure would enjoy that toy anyways.

I'd be pretty happy with anything other than Jack... It's just so bog standard. My wish list (at the moment) would start with Hedorah, maybe King Gidorah, Twin Tail & Gamasu. It's just such a fun happy looking character, perfect for the house's revamp!

As for the kaiju vs. heroes thing, just keep in mind that ButaNoHana has released almost 250 'standard size' toys, and well under 20 of those have been humanoids in costumes!

Hey guys. I've been lurking enough here. Seriously love Butas stuff - though I really don't collect it. However, recently I can't keep myself from checking this thread and the Buta Blog daily, and I ventured into the 'collector realm' (i.e. bought toys) after chatting with Ohashi-san at the last Superfestival. Truth be told - I know what a couple of those teasers are (in the leg pic), and I'll be trying for my first 'standard' Buta Kaiju once one in particular is ready to go!

Another good source for fun Butanohana pics is on saku_bun 's Instagram - he does great custom paints on buta micros, and has as close to a complete Buta collection as I've ever seen! (Yes - we don't all use Instagram - but for those that do...)

You hear, Ohash? That's three tokusatsu sculpt! Get to work right away....pleaaase.
