Can't seem to copy the proper link to embed from an iPad, sorry. This is a trailer of Return of the Jedi David Lynch style. It's amazing.
If Lynch had directed A New Hope:
Uncle Owen to Luke: "Blue Milk? Fuck that shit! Pabst Blue Ribbon!"

Re: Sick of Star Wars
Going back to the original purpose of this thread... I follow a lot of custom artists on Instagram because it was the whole DIY aspect that got me into toys in the first place. All I can say is that I like Star Wars as much as the next person, but my gawd, sometimes I just want to slap people silly for cranking out so many damn Bobafetts. I understand that most customizers are trying to make money and that Star Wars stuff sells great, but I think there has to be a certain point where you have to decide to keep your artistic dignity in tact and do something original for once.

Where did you find that graphic, David? It's brilliant. Are there more representing the other movies?

Re: Sick of Star Wars
I stumbled on it while looking for decent images to post for Chan-wook Park's vengeance trilogy. With some digging I found the guy's tumbler. He's done plenty of other SW related design work, but unfortunately no others in that perfect style.
These were okay:
His page is definitely worth a scroll to the bottom; there's some good stuff in there.

Re: Sick of Star Wars
The mainstream media's eyes are on Episode VII these days, but how many of the franchise's films are actually green-lighted for production (even if pre-production is still some time off?)
If I understand correctly, a total of 5, namely VII, VIII, IX and two that won't be part of the I - IX lineage, both of which have directors already committed (one being Gareth Edwards.) Is that right? Anyone know for sure?
Also, any predictions, speculations, or random thoughts about how sustainable this will be? Is Star Wars eternal as The Mouse is banking on, or will franchise over-saturation eventually bring us back to the post-prequels Star Wars weariness that had some people, at the time, announcing the death of the empire?

The Empire will reign until our race becomes sterile. SW fans are a renewable resource, presently.

Done then. No more hand-wringing over the perils of overexposure. Now do thee squirm in the uncomfortable silence of Star Wars without John Williams’ score:
