Not sure how much interest there will be for these here but I think it's worth posting. I loved this anime, dubbed 'Supercampeones' in Spanish, lots of good (and long) memories from this cartoon.

Oh, those are sweet! Thanks for sharing, I had no idea these were in development. It's Captain Tsubasa for anyone who is not familiar with the show/manga. It actually has been a massively popular series internationally as well, and has been running almost continually in some form or another since it first aired (the anime encompassing 4 films, 14 OVAs and 227 TV episodes). I know it was quite popular in the Middle East, where it's dubbed Captain Majid.

Ahahahhaha, oh man, the farce that is FIFA continues. As if the arrests this past week came as any sort of a surprise to anyone, but then to re-elect Blatter the next day? And now, he steps down?! What, did he just need to prove that he could get re-elected and was still the top dog? Or, as is likely, he sees the end [e.g. charges against him as well] coming soon, and is trying to get in front of it. Either way, I would like to hope this heralds in the start of some change, but whether I think that will happen or not is another matter.
