People here are always very happy to offer constructive feedback on develop and designs, as many have years of experience in it and have lots of knowledge to offer. Just try and check everything out and get familiar with the board before you start selling your wares.

Post Re: Introductions
Hello all. My name is Eric. New here to posting on skull brain and look forward to gathering as much info as I can. I've been serious about collecting for about 6 months now. BUt have been actively browsing and lurking behind the shadows so to speak for a while and desided to pull the trigger when I finally one my first lotto and now.... Here I am. Active with picks of my collection on IG. My handle is the same as my name on here @HardDragon. Fell inlove with the art of vinyl and resin toys and love all the collaboration involved with painting and trading with the many talented hands all over he world. After the last six months of impulse purchaseing from all over the toy spectrum I can say my love sits with the earthy fungal and aquatic style. And really love the ninimalist look of unpainted vinyl and smalls. They really bring the shelf together. Haha thanks for the read & look forward to the board.

Thanks
Eric

Hello, Eric. Welcome all around :)

You'll be pleased to know that there are a lot of vinyl & resin toys of that aesthetic (as you seem to have noticed), but If you haven't yet, be sure to look into the work of Yamomark. "Fungai and aquatic" are influences of his that are expressed in many of his works (and my avitar actually). Another plus, especially in this hobby, is that Yamomark pieces pop up for availability fairly regularly.

the Yamomark thread : http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22143.

Enjoy the eye candy! :D

Hey I'm Colin, aka Donkeykonk. I have been collecting art toys since late 09/early 10, but have been collecting toys since forever. I had been collecting only kid robot and american toys, but then after acquiring some super7 to trade for an interested international collector, I fell in love with Japanese vinyl (this was maybe early 2013. I practically only collect sofubi now and enjoy my collection more than ever. Of course there will always be acceptions where I buy all kinds of other toys including marvel legends, transformers, american vinyl, etc. but I was excited to find that there is a community (this one) that has a large presence of Japanese vinyl fans, so I am excited to contribute to these forums!

Very neat collection of stuff. I will never get over how odd it feels to click on someones instagram and see stuff I had a hand in creating. Can't seem to get used to it.

Anyway welcome to the friendliest place on the internet!

Yeah.

Excellent shelf indeed. Love the choice in figures. I am particularly envious of that M1 Hedorah, such a beauty.

Welcome to the board Carlos! :)

Thank you for the welcome, guys! I will be adding a few M1s and blobpuses (blobpi?) over the next few months if I can sell some of my non-kaiju stuff.

Post Re: Introductions
Hello! I suppose this would be a re-introduction. Joined back in 2006, but my last post was in 2008. I was satisfied with my collection and slowly withdrew from the toy world, but got pulled back into it this past week after seeing a few things from SDCC. I missed a lot over the years, and now feel like I'm scrambling to find pieces that I didn't even know existed. Some of you may remember me for my Charactics Majin Bander collection (still one of my favorites!), but there are quite a few things that have me excited again--MVH (Krawluss and Berserker? Sickening!), Monster Worship, Frenzy, Five Star, Earth Wolf, Yakimon--I could go on and on!

I love reading through old posts to bring myself up to speed, so I may not contribute much until I catch up to the rest of you. Looking forward to being back amongst you all!

~Nick

Post Re: Introductions
Hello all,

Some of you may or may not know me from the KR, CAD forums. I have been into a bit of the kaiju scene ever since I started collecting back in like 2001-2002. Though I never purchased any of it and still have not. Which I am in the process of fixing right now! So, I thought I would step up and finally make an account here!

I have really been digging the MVH, Cure and Secret Base stuff. Like the Boogies, Ollies DBMs, SkullHevi, the Pushead collabs and the likes. I like dark paint apps and somewhat more clean designs.

I may need a bit of help and guidance! So, pardon all of the ignorance and what might seem like repetitive or previously asked questions.

Anyways glad to be apart of the SB forum finally!

Justin/GDA

Hi,

My name is Austin, been lurking here for a while now and decided to join in. I got to meet a few of you during the PK show at SDCC. I have been trying my hardest not to start collecting Kaiju but I finally gave in. I scored a KingJinx and a Mr. Ree at the show. Squadts are my true addiction, I have every one of them.

Other than that I am really big into Sports (Go Pack Go!), I go to Coachella, SDCC, and DCon every year. That should pretty much take care of everything.

Welcome to the board Justin, it is always pleasant to see another local collector here in the board, if there is anything I can help feel free to ask.
