Re: SDCC 2014
Lulubell has their SDCC leftovers up on their website. Some things have already disappeared since last night though. I snagged an Aqua D Bags while I could
As a non-attendee it's looking like it was a lack-luster con this year (excluding the PK event).
Really the only con exclusive that got me excited was the new Restore figure. The new alien vinyl was nice as well, but not a must have for me.
I tend to agree with you. This is the first SDCC in a long time when I haven't asked for anyone to mule me anything... the S7 vinyl Alien was cool, as were a lot of things, but nothing I felt the intense urge to get.

After missing for the first time in 6 years I thought it may have just been sour grapes that I thought the ticket-buying process looked more convoluted, the lines looked crazier, the security sounded even more nazi than usual and the toy exclusives way lamer . . . but I seem to be hearing it from a few attendees too!

I knew there was a reason not to go...although I might go next year.

I can still kick you in the nuts by proxy!
Having said how much the toy exclusives sucked. I was stoked that a very nice lady managed to pick this up on my behalf . . .
Next generation craziness!

yes...but it's just not the same. We shall see. If I get my ProReg in order and a hotel early enough...or maybe I'll just save the money and go to Japan. Hmmmm....

The con has ended and the thread is only 3 pages long - that tells ya something. Typically the thread would have been 3 pages long the day it was created, weeks before the con opened.
Was so stoked to have the chance to get down to SDCC this year. The Gunnzo store event was one of the nicest I've been to in ages. Grasshut/Gargamel booth delivered a knockout every day. It was great meeting and seeing people I may only see once a year. So for me, still a thrill and wouldn't have missed it for the world.
my haul, nfs/t happy with my haul, but even happier being able to hang with people i only see during sdcc. most of the fun events happen outside the con.
top 5, in no particular order:
- PK gunnzo event - lots of fun, food, and toys without the sdcc crowds - pushead lunch - mindblowing reveal - meeting guillermo del toro and norman reedus - lunch and brewery hangouts with fellow skullbrainers - adventure time medal conquest 3 peat - thanks to nate and maddie
random pics from my iphone.
inside the walking dead terminus booth for this year..
PK raffle start
sdcc has some interesting products for sale (nsfw)
how i (and many others) probably feel when its over. til next year!

Paul and Melissa are good folks, and know how to throw a party ! He had a taco bar at the event...chicken, steak and fish tacos with all the fixins ! Hand made tortillas, lemonade, and yummy rice krispy treats with gummy bears! ( someone made a beer run too....I thank you mystery friend...) Big thanks to them both, I love my King Jinx ! See you at Designer Con
