This just arrived.

Anyone know if this was a recent patchmon/sarasu release?

Seems like more of a gold look in Clam's photo than the original photo.
I thought it was going to be more subtle and silvery.

Fuck, not a good week for me. The preorder looks more silver on the head.

I hope they are different, as the real photo looks quite nice too.

Now I have 2 of these also...my house will have 2 of each of everything... But I can't top Toto's collection of 3 or more RxH.

It looks like one silver and one gold colorway. Too different to be the same piece, but I guess we will find out soon enough.

At first I thought the same thing, but they are too similar to be different...
I think these are 2 different looking pics of the same release...

Kinda like Clam's Bemon deal.

I agree. lighting makes them look different colors. They are the same release.

Maybe Kid Clam should get both? :D

Wow people buying multiples of RxH...that's a big surprise. Leaves those of us trying to get a Booska wondering why we bother collecting.

Oh and I'm really not picking on you for buying two clam. I'm just annoyed in general at the state of the hobby.

Buy away...looks like we might battle it out on the Booska :)

(this is a friendly tone message btw...I'm not antagonizing anyone or trying to...)

I know of five people who buy multiples.
Totally LAME if people are bidding up auctions on figures that they already own.
I stated this a long time ago. I still stand by it...

I try to only see good in others for their actions. Plus it's their money and they can do what the fuck they want, it's their life.

Here is Toto's collection. http://www.flickr.com/photos/34597874@N ... 356987551/

it can be good for beginner collectors who can't fine earlier stuff, that's my take on it. Don't need to be negative.

Also people might not be bidding on duplicates. They just buy a few for trade in the future for stuff they need. I think he might go to Japan direct and buys it seems.

well i know of one auction that you and i are both interested in, driven up in price by someone who owns it.
true rfso indeed.

it's been happening a lot lately. between this, and prices seeming to be obnoxious on figures that are a month old, it's getting a bit annoying.
$500 for a goga? $350 for a bemon?

i know folks like these figures, but these are prices that are out of my league. I'm not poor by any means, but I'm certainly not throwing $200 at a six inch figure that came out over the summer.

I just bought two gogas for way less than half of what someone over here paid for one. People will say "It's their money and they can do what they want"

Well my money will be well spent on new releases and hookups from true RFSO followers.
I keep quiet most of the time, but a lot of folks on this board have become true friends to me and lately have been getting dicked around.
Recent departures have kept the board nice and quiet lately, but the price gouging seems to be rampant and I really just can't sit around and not say anything.

I'm out...take the booska dude...

i was just talking about this sort of 'flipping' with someone the other night. its almost becoming acceptable. especially with the recent pushead stuff. it's getting scary to think that people find all this ok

hmmm, well i bid on it first without thinking of a max since I really don't want it to go so high. i also thought members won't fight for this. then I wake up and find other members just throwing their max and making it go to this price. Only one member had PM me if I really want it.

I had been looking for this one for a while. I, quite honestly, would go as high as $150 for the figure which is what I was planning on doing.

I'm going to explain myself here, not because I need to, but I want to.
Three times, I've been bid up on RxH auctions by people on the board. After the third time, I said screw it, if nobody else is following the unspoken rule, neither am I.

Sorry dude...some friendly competition between the two of us is one thing.
Other people just bidding if they already own it is entirely another. There are always going to be times where the rule doesnt apply, I just think some form of decency should be employed from time to time.

I am really not out to stir this up, but this board is a place I enjoy and lately I've been finding myself going elsewhere mroe than anything.
