Re: New Butanohana
^ I think that I'm going to stick to just posting images of the guest-stars that Oohashi-san has already gotten around to producing for now, seeing as how decent captures are only out there for a couple of them, but believe me, there's plenty more material for him to mine in the coming years!
Here's another postal worker:

^^^ That almost seems appropriate, considering his head is all but floating off of him on the show:
Not having one in hand, I can't speak the the softness of the vinyl, but it's probably more a matter of the join-point being more ovoid than circular. He is articulated mid-shoulder, after all.
^ Very true, but the softness makes the joint turn. If the vinyl was harder I expect it would be impossible. I have to say that as it has only one point of articulation, the play-ability is limited; I re-bagged mine and prefer it so.
Oh yeah the "new" Zazahns... Sold out, so maybe it's time to put them up here so they're not forgotten.

Aghira, or variations on him, appeared three times during the run of Chibira-Kun.
The first time he showed up was as an unnamed beastie in the middle of a particularly trippy adventure: Here he looked much as he did in Ultraseven, albeit a good bit dumpier. INVISIFrom Chibira-Kun, episode 56, 1971

Re: New Butanohana
The second time that Aghira shows up is clearly what Mr. Oohashi wanted us to think of when we look at his toy: It's a brand new look for our favorite collapsible dino, and he gets plenty of screen time to show it off in this one.
Once again, Aghira is only Aghira in costume alone... but we know better, don't we! IChibira-Kun, episode 74, 1971.

Mild adventure awaits... ...if you'd only click through.

Re: New Butanohana
Aghira's third and final appearance on Chibira-Kun appears to have been on his day off from UltraFight, what with all the polka dots.
We get an UltraFight twofer this time, actually, as the baggiest looking Eleking of all time is hanging around, too: Nobody gets a name in this one either, and shhh! one's not even a real monster! INVOChibira-Kun, episode 76, 1971
Well, that covers the guest stars that Our Man Buta has sculpted for us so far, but I should probably do a little bit on Oku and Tutor. They're not in nearly every single episode, but they sure do turn up plenty.

Re: New Butanohana
^ I don't completely disagree, but what's one page among dozens? How many different Buta threads do we need? It's not like the posts would make sense in Mo' Buta, and all of them are, at heart, about toys from the maker.
