M1 x Medicom are reissuing this green Godzilla (looks very similar). Pre order is up, only around $74 FYI

I know which one you say Lixx, it's nice too but the green it's more dark and have like blood in the hands. Medicom made some really good reproductions of differents Godzilla versions this year.

Yeah it does look like it came from the same bootleg company that did that Fireman and maybe also the bootleg Flying Attack Human with clear mask.

Not that bad a price really...no rust has the tail intact - looks pretty minty

I had seen other race cars but not the Mazinger, but I like liquidsky say it is a beautiful piece.

If I had seen that, I would have nudged it higher. Just so crazy cool.
Especially when ugly contemporary toys (say NNNags) blow past that price in auctions.

But then in opens the door into tin/metal, and not sure I want to enter that one....

But again, so fucking cool.

This is a little hard to see in these photographs, but it is a very light pale green vinyl all over painted dark green and then silver. That said the other I have seen and blue spray on top of the silver. Regrdless, they are near impossible to find.

Rare Masudaya Zone Fighter talker sold for 555,000 yen.

Was watching that Zone Fighter myself. Beautiful toy. I know Brian was after it, but those last 3-4 bids (167 in total) just went to crazy amounts. $5344 in US dollars at the end! How rare is this?

A great figure, my favourite part of him is the two finger gesture. Somehow I am a complete sucker for toys that have poses like that. A great acquisition for someone's talker collection.

This is only the second Zone talker I have ever seen, and I have been looking for almost 15 years. The first was at Ichiban-boshi on consignment with a broken horn and broken fingers. It was there for yeas as it was several thousand dollars in broken condition. Eventually, that figure was listed and sold on yahoo for about a grand in broken shape, and I have regretted not buying it to at least have on the shelf until a better one came along. (Trying my best to complete my talker collection.) This is the only other one I have seen, and based on the prices people are asking for the Red Baron talker, I could see it even having gone higher.

That said, I have a bunch of vintage duplicates and such to sell if anyone is looking for Hawaii figures and the like. I need to pay off a recent acquisition.....

I doubt it. There is not nearly enough hype surrounding those toys. And vintage collectors these days seem few and far between [unfortunately]. Though, sadly, that has not been reflected in the buying prices on Japanese markets too!

So can we read between the lines and take that to mean that you were possibly the lucky buyer this time around Brian? I sure hope you didn't subject yourself to that incredible regret all over again. Sure is a nice talker, as I said. But, if not this particular toy, I hope you eventually share with us what you did pick up that is causing a sell-off of the duplicates.

Well, I know you're not the biggest Gorosaurus fan...so if you have a purple stripey one that's taking up too much room, you know who to call! LOL

I am disappointed that the listing for the loose Ninja Arashi talker was prematurely ended by the seller as it looked to be in pretty good shape. I would have liked to see how that listing would have ended in a competitive bid.

Same here. I can only assume they got offered a price for the Ninja Arshi and the Gatchaman and took it since both ended early.
