Super sweet! And maybe even better with the plain stump.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyrann
The print looks simply incredible. I love how HxS transposes its toys into glorious prints. Vintage pachi kaiju have traditionally existed alongside printed versions of the monsters, and this is what is lacking in today's pachi creations. What he did with the menko cards is another sign of respect to the genre.
As for the Itamu, I have mixed feelings. I am a bit sick of the zombie-this, zombie-that trend. But I must acknowledge that the details on it are quite amazing (right leg indeed). Not fond of Pus' paint though, too realistic. But it must have been some hard work.
As for the wired hand, I think it works alright, it's something original, not seen before.
Unlike the KGJ & MGJ2 who were love at first sight, I'll wait to see some other painted version to make my final opinion on the Itamu.

Can you imagine seeing his collection In person? I bet he's got crazy stuff that never came to fruition and the originals that he based all the paint apps on. Ooooo...

^^^ Just because you disappeared for a while doesn't mean people here have forgotten your bs. Anyone want to take bets on how long it takes that KGJ to get flipped (like all his Blobpus lotto wins)? Anyways... back to the Itamu. First and foremost, the attention to detail on the sculpt is nothing short of incredible. While the disconnected hand is certainly a clever idea, I can't help feeling like that break in fluidity kind of detracts from the figure as a whole. The pics above of the Pus HP really help cement that for me. Short of that one minor critique, the figure is an absolute home run. Anyone who scored one over the weekend is indeed very lucky... especially Ana!!!

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyrann
The stubbed hand looks disjointed, uncomfortable and in direct linear contrast with the rest of the design...THAT is exactly why I love it. It makes you look at it multiple times and seeing all the different pics from various angles, it's out of place look lends to the design in a huge way. It looks like the sinew and tendons of a robotic animal. I hope I can get my hands on one. smurph wrote: ^^^ Just because you disappeared for a while doesn't mean people here have forgotten your bs. I love the extra joint at the elbow, this sculpt is beyond the pale.......
PUSxHS what could one expect? In a blur the memories of seeing these in the case at Hyperstoic are still floating to the surface of the gray matter
Thanx Pus, Hirota & Toy Tokyo for once again blowing my damaged mind!!!!!!!
Prayers to Toy Gods to see a Factory HP of this Gnarly Beast!!!!!!!

More of these guys are popping up in pics on IG, but I don't think I've seen a good back photo yet....if there's anything unique back there.

backshot: I have some awkward angle shots too. I can't wait to see a painted Hirota run. Rich wrote: The more I see the damaged arm, the more I'm warming up to it. So unexpected, it was shocking at first.

I cannot find where this might have been mentioned or shown before.... Is this new guy about the same height as the original Gorillas? Or taller, like the King?

Not feeling the hanging fist at all don't want any wires in my vinyl. I like how this one is missing the fist entirely just an 'ol bandaged nub. How much can you bend it and does it stay at the angle you bend it or is it like a floppy hot dog? BUT that knee doe very nice! Wish the right arm would of been more like the right knee showing the mechanical parts underneath.

The attention to detail is just on another level! You really need to take a good long look to soak up all the sofubi sweetness that is Itamu.
