Anybody that got this for less than $1000.00 US got a bargain - TEN IN THE WORLD (or am I wrong?)

-Wetblanket post- (but new and improved! w/disclaimer!) - Not AT ALL directed at anyone specific, anything personal - just observation; not meant to harm or offend - numbers slightly altered to make it easier for the math.

Don't get me wrong; I'd love to see everybody get what they want - Sorry to anyone here that lost out - but this comes up all the time; and it defintely applies to this piece.

If someone bids 790 for an item and loses to someone for 800, you don't lose by 10 bucks. The 790 bid lost by whatever the winner was willing to pay - If they were willing to pay 2000.00 US, then you were outbid by 1210.00 US, not 10.00. You were willing to pay 790 - they were willing to pay more. Simple concept. If you bid what you were truely willing to pay; don't beat yourself up over it. It always sucks to lose something you really want - but it happens.

Look what Kozik (and others) were willing to pay at the beginning of his Drunken Sailor-Like SB Binge - I don't think anyone posting or lurking here would consider him a shill - really the Anti-shill. Just a hardcore completest that pays toot-sweet. And there are others.....

Unlimited Desire - Unlimited funds - Unlimited bidding. If I had it, I would probably be the same way. If you earn it, you deserve it.

Ten in the World? 2 (or 3) different have shown up in various auctions - YJA and ebay(a YJA repeater)? If this was a US release there would be endless posts throwing hissy-fits.....funny.

O covet thy Secret Base.....

PEACE

I bet there were 10 sold at WCC and then there were extra made for friends of SB and friends of Pushead. David did you get yours direct from Pushead???? I am sure you did. so I bet that at least makes 12. I am guessing that there were 15 to 20 made????!!!!! that is just a guess though. In my personal opinion they are well worth the money and I would have paid it if I had it but I don't. oh well I got tons of Blobpus and Real Head coming to ease the pain. I got 10 Real Head figures for the price of that one figure!!!!!!!

I agree Subsfan. You never really know how much you loose, or win, an auction. I looked at an eBay auction I won once and saw a person had bid right up to within $1 of my price then quit!!
It still makes ya feel shite when you come in second on a desired item.

What's a shill. Never heard this word before.

Shill bidding is when the seller creates another name of ebay and bids on his own auction to artifically raise the price.

Post Ya soooo
Your right my mistake. The winner most likely had a max. of a $1000 or something. So I move on and possible go for the one on YJA.
