 Hot Weather
I feel the need to post about hot weather because it's only just starting to hit down-under, and it's preventing me from sleeping and making me grumpy.
I'm built for cool climates, take that as you will
Today had a top of 36, tomorrow is a top of 39 in some parts of Sydney.
Blergh! I want 20 less

I can believe you (being jealous). I can't cope with warm weather. Give me crappy English weather any day of the week

Here here to rain. I was in Oz last year and the heat killed me.
My lady is from Purley Way way too. Well Coulsdon, but it's near enough in my book. What made you up sticks?

Family moved over to Australia with my father's job in Lloyds Bank 1987.
Was 7 at the time, so don't have a strong recollection of the neighborhood, I used to live on Barnfield Avenue, was close to a golf course, really nice area back then - don't know about now!
Used to head back once a year to see the family in Britain and France ( Mum is French ) so now I have places to stay when I travel Europe ;D

Not at all gloating but considering it's November it's hot as hell during the day here. I miss seasons...... (originally from IL)

It's heating up in Melbourne. Last week it was like the worst of winter though - even had snow! Crazy weather. I much prefer the cold. I'm born and bred in Oz, but have me Mum's Scotish blood I think!!
What kills me is the clowns who whinge and whine about the cold all winter about how they can't wait for summer - then the first hot day they complain about it's too hot!!!
Going to be a hot summer for sure though hey Darky.

Yea Moriachi that cold weather snap was crazy, had some snow here in NSW in the blue mountains.
Then a week later it's total reversal.
Boo!
So long as we dont have a new years day like we did last year, that 40+ weather was ridiculous.

Seattle is breaking records this month for rainfall - I'll trade some of our weather for some RxH (or should this go in BST?)

The 40? days are damn hard to bare. I'm good at low 30's. Can handle that well enough, but when it starts climbing I get grumpy. Melbourne is much more humid than Sydney, so it feels worse. Sydney heat I can take a bit more of.
