It's weird, I love chameleons, but something about this guy doesn't click with me even though I feel like I should really like it. The sculpt is well done, but it's almost too perfect to the point of sterility. Also the hands bug me, maybe if he came with something to hold. Perhaps my mind would be changed if I got to see it in person, this guy just turns me off in a really peculiar way I can't put my finger on exactly.

Anybody order a Darts? I'm assuming this is the right thread for him since he is supposed to be the second figure in the Jungle Fever series. I'm thinking he would look great next to Gargamel's orange Garudan from the lucky bags this year!

It's interesting. The chameleon had so much detail and texture throughout but this looks very cartoony.

I agree. They don't look like they belong in the same line. He has a feel more like that of a touma x max toy collab.

I would have loved a sabre tiger done in the same fashion as fog.

They both have the exact same articulation and build.
I'm assuming they are sculpted on the same toy armature or something like that.

Actually come to think of it that new Restore Neo Japan figure is the same also, but with no tail piece.

I got two blank FOGs. I was going to get a NEO but don't see myself as a painter on that level (would require handpaint details, I am only comfortable with spray at the moment), and I passed on Iron Meat blank for the same reason (and the fact that I preordered the MEDICOM painted Iron Meat). But painting two FOGs is going to be sweet and I am super excited. Got some metallic "green tea"/ gold Monster Kolors just waiting, and the other one is going to be black/gold possibly. Thanks to lulubell for such a great opportunity. I mean the GID FOG is like $250-300 and it is just a blank with a Kimono. Getting these figures in the hands of collectors for $55-65 each is downright community service. Thank you!

Also, I have both Darts and FOG. The FOG is a Big chunk of vinyl in person. Darts is very slim in comparison, and the details are more clean and precise. I like them both a lot, but I do agree that they don't look like they are from the same line when you have them on the shelf next to each other. Still, this line has me hooked and intrigued for the future.

I was soon tempted by the Neo Japan, but ended up getting two fogs.
I was able to the GID from D-con. Since then haven't had any luck getting any other color ways. Until now.
So many ideas and only two fogs.

I only found out about it on Sunday, so glad I didn't miss it.
