I had no idea about the sb release and am curious to see what it looks like. I'm kicking myself for missing it since I have literally never scored any MVH from drops or lottos.

Yellow is my favorite color and while I don't [normally] collect unpainted toys, would have loved to have grabbed this guy too. Ironically, I did just purchase an unpainted yellow toy and they would make great buddies.

Bag head is a killer....... See what I did with that! Awesome. Can't wait to see what there dudes are gonna look like painted up.

Sculpt turned out great but seems waaaay too big. Looks almost bigger than the body... Between this and that ugly hag head i dunno about all these new dx collabs...

That DX body is sure getting a ton of head sculpts. I dont mind the size, since it does look like the little guy is wearing a burlap sack over his head.

Its getting hard to keep up.

I personally dig on the Hag head sculpt. This one isn't bad, I just don't think it particularly fits with the DX body's aesthetic. And I do have to agree that it looks too big for the body. However, I'm more than up for eating a slice of humble pie if I end up diggin' it in person.

I like the more cartoony, childlike, proportions the bigger head gives. With all these new toys, the second half of 2015 is going to be epic for mvh.

Im not against it and i reserve my true judgement for in person. Theres many toys i didnt like in photos but loved in person/in hand.

I'm fully aware this won't be everyone's cup of tea - par for the course! Still, I'm psyched to paint more of these, and I'm sure rich will whip up some awesome paint as well!

That one from the show came out rad. Still living the duality I see in the Hag's hair/hood.

Maybe I can shed a little light.

1.) Yeah, there are more head colabs than planned hitting at once. Weird how that just works out. The thing is, so people can keep up not drop them all at once or too much. So if any head gets released its more likely you only see 2 releases or so a year ( besides 1 offs which I don't count). So hopefully that makes sense.

2.) The bag head. When Brandt designed it he told its proportions are to be 2/3 the body, like his other toys, to have the cartoony vibe. So as much as its not my proportion standard it's what his is so I went with it. With the clown they make a set, to gap the two worlds together. So size wise you guys are spot on.

3.) The Hag, and Alien. Jon asked me to sculpt a head for the SHB body after I did that show with SHB at his gallery last year. This was the same time I did those mash ups. So I decided to sculpt a head that could fit both bodies so I can have fun with it and like the mash ups, also tie in MVH stuff with SHB stuff plus tie in the MOON GOON with PK and Joe. Jons head also works in this way, it's mainly for the SHB body but will also be used for the DX from time to time.

It may look like a lot now because of how things all got finished at once, but I promise there won't be many times where you see multiple runs being released each month. It's all new now but will fit in schedule with other stuff. Personally I'll keep staggering DX stuff like I have. With the Mech/ astronught , the Troll and other characters in time you will see how it all works together and how you won't see a bombardment all at once.

I don't mind the frequency of recent batch of releases at all.. a lot of opportunities to buy MVH (and any other toy) direct from producers is a good thing! And releases are still selling out super quick so it's not like the sudden flow has crowded the market.

Keep them coming Rich, more opportunities for those that keep missing the drops
