Well, that is an odd one (jumbo Goji). While I am h̶a̶p̶p̶y̶ incredibly enthusiastic to see new jumbos being made, the prices are just so high, they are completely out of the reach of most common fans, let alone children - which is, after all, what these are/were intended for. I get that you are reaching out to an audience of 'collectors' but still, there should be some room for middle ground as well. As you said, comparably to get a vintage version is very possible.

Anyways, really just commenting to see if anyone has any info on the folks behind this project and/or sculpt? I like that they took a different approach, and certainly love seeing some classic Goji appearance, but I think the mouth is a bit off. I suppose he is supposed to be scowling, but something about that middle bit between his mouth and cheek just looks unnatural and kind of ridiculous. They could have used some fine tuning in the face. And what is with the brown eyebrows? I am nitpicking of course, as I would be so happy to have one, but at the same time, for such a price tag it also has to meet high expectations - which Godzilla fans will have (ever read any of the forums where fans argue over versions? it gets intense); that's all I am saying.

And "right fist only"? Haha, gimme a break, do you really need to say that in bold letters when describing the toy?

I plan to get one to accompany my original Godzilla shogun. Since he's already green, the black'll do just fine.

I've been sitting on ordering him because of the August date, but I suppose I should pull the trigger soon. With August right around the corner now, and before the chance of them getting bought up and dumped on ebay for a lot more than $230. Though there are so many stores selling them that hopefully that won't happen.

No Pus event unless they release some bobbleheads.
