I think the one you mean is a vintage Alien up there for display.
There is a vintage, as seen on the right in the pic below, but I was referring to the blue-grey fella done in the 'prototype' style on the left. A sign of things to come, if one can be hopeful.

Thanks Andy, Luis, Anthony, TTF. Nice to see that stuff. I always get such a buzz from hearing Brian talk toys and seeing the breadth of stuff S7 put out.
Great pics, thanks for posting them all! Those TMNT figures based on the original comics have actually got me pretty excited. I think maybe the original NECAs are still a bit better for 'action', but I definitely would love one of those to play around with. I just hope they are not too statue-esque and are still going to be toys; I am not a fan at all of the display only type figures. Hard to say off the pics which these will fall in to, but I am leaning toward the latter from initial impression (and the 1/6 quoted scaling). The re-created Madballs look killer too. A heck of a lot of detail, but still lots of fun.
So were the Skeletor's Lair tokens really that easy to come by?

Not difficult, but you had to ask for one. They weren't out there in a bowl or anything.

Re: SDCC 2015 Pics/Experience
Toys...at least the kind most folks on this board are interested in are pretty much done at SDCC. PK's event was held off site about 5 miles from SDCC and a badge was not required to get to his party.
The problem is that hardly anyone can get badges anymore. What was considered the toy section at Con has been reduced to S7,Funko and a few other makers at best. That being said, even if the toy area was rammed with companies like in years past, hardly anyone into the toys can get in to buy them, so it ends up being a waste for everyone. Dcon/NYCC seems to be where everything is headed, or doing off sites at SDCC.
That being said, it's still enjoyable to cruise around and people watch.

Re: SDCC 2015 Pics/Experience
There wasn't it was a planned trade, but it is part of the SDCC haul as it happened on the trip...
and I feel all the usuals for the most part were still at the convention... so badges really aren't a problem SDCC for our niche toy goers... we probably have a few years left in us... it seems to get worse and worse for us every year... I still enjoyed it very much don't get me wrong. However for the first time, I had no real schedule. i didn't have to be on the floor when it opened. it felt great honestly. D*CON has continued to grow since the first VTN... It's amazing to see what it has become in the last decade or so.
^Probably just depends on the source and what you are converting the price to.
Although the foam was such a classic part of what made Madballs excellent in my opinion, I am interested to see what type of vinyl they are going to use and how they turn out. They will certainly last longer and be more durable to 'play.' I wonder if they are going to still be ball-sized, and how thick the vinyl is going to be.
