Rei, the Tetsujin is awesome. I love the colors on it also. Nice pick up. The Bandai Black King is a fun little guy. I have a few different color versions of it including the one you have.

Thank you! Year? Is it 1990? Just guessing from what I've been able to dig up.

I don't think NH has been around that long, but I am not certain. There is a much more common blue version of the figure you have, still available on their webstore even, but the only other example of the black I can find (searching in Japanese) is the Amazon page linked below, so it must be pretty rare. I know some of the NH T-28 stuff has to be crazy limited as they did blank GID versions of all the main standard sized characters they've produced, but I haven't seen a single one turn up for sale or even in any collection pics in the last 5+ years.

Nice! I love capsule monsters as well. I have grabbed all the Windam/Agira/Mikuras glowies I can get my hands on, sadly I don't think there are any GID Sevengar figures.

Steve - Not that it's any surprise, but Oohashi-san did a wonderful job with both of these sculpts. The textures on Windam are just dreamy; and the over-sprays on Svengar are absolutely delicious. I feel I really lucked out on the keshi omake, too, as the swirly purple is my favorite of the variations I've seen.

Back to the drought.

Fun trades, and my first Buta Ultraman!

What a great figure Zack! Congrats on finding one. I am sure many others are looking at him in envy. Still, one of the best Ultraman figures to come out in the 'modern' era, and in the torrent of figures that includes, is really saying something. I sure hope Buta does some more Ultras (but then, I guess I want to see non-stop of everything from him ). Just plain fun. Great toys and nice photo!
