you're lying. I was in the room and he didn't even ask you to count anything. he put the needle in your arm and you INSTANTLY started fluttering your eyes and then he said "okay, she's asleep" and they started.

true story, i wear a hostel shirt to bed every single night. I got 3 from an press screening, with the intention of selling them, and wore one to bed once, from there on out, i am in a 3 hostel shirt rotation. it is the most comfortable t shirt known to man. haha. skylar teases me that i'm the biggest hostel fan ever. i wear a hostel shirt every day.

I didn't watch the procedure! I waited with her til she was under because she was a little freaked out. the doctor even asked me to stay in the room and hold her hand til she was out.
I didn't watch the procedure, but I did HEAR it from the waiting room.

it's good to hear you are recovering well, missy. now that its all over i can tell you my wisdom teeth horror story.
mine were impacted, as well as rooted by nerve strands thick as rope. if memory serves me correctly, the oral surgeon referred to the situation as a "goatfuck", but was optimistic that he could do it. i went into surgery and everything seemed cool (though apparently when i was under anesthesia i kept trying to punch and grab everyone). as the weeks progressed my jaw hurt more and more, and i ended up eating heroic amounts of vicodin. went back to the surgeon to get checked out and OOPS i have a bone infection. it had spread from my gumholes down into the base of my jaw. i was in and out of surgery for about 4 months to clean it all out.
fucking sucked.
stay healthy

Dentists and dental work scares me.
I have to go in a couple of weeks. Need a filling and two silver fangs.
Now you can make jokes about us British and teeth.

One of my favorite dental movies is "Marathon Man". Is it safe?

My Dad was my dentist... which totally sucked.
Dentists know that people are afraid to visit them, so my Dad had to pretty much put up with everyone's excuses for not brushing/flossing, etc... so when it was time for me to go in for my check ups, he got to unload all his pent up frustration on me.
I guess it worked... I still haven't had a cavity yet.

actually i gained a bunch cause all i could eat was soy ice cream. well, that and in large quantities vicodin can fuck with your liver and you become waterlogged. i probably gained 10 pounds in waterweight alone.
i was fatting it up.
and while we're on the topic of dental work, i've always admired this route:
