I would have thought this cool and rare Eleking riding toy would have sold for a higher price since it looks to be in pretty good condition. It sold for 269,000 yen.

I know it's not vintage, but I think they use the Giant Marusan Ultraman mold for this one. I don't know if it's that strange for this price.

Goshdarnit. That is a toy I have been after for many years now, and while it has always been hard to snag, and has gradually edged up in price, I never would have conceived that price. Heartbreaking really. As it forces me to just give up the ghost on this lovely sculpt, I don't even know what to say. I hope this was some freak occurrence as a result of a bidding war or premium for the box.

Same here -dream toy. Yeah but I've never seen this toy go for anything less than a mint! I can't imagine what shipping from Japan would be? The GID is on my wantlist as well, and it is unfortunate that it turns up rarely, but always more expensive than the last time I saw it.

That Eleking rider is so amazing even besides the pristine condition, seems like a really weird choice in kaiju though. Never seen a rider like that before.

Yep, me too. I'm always surprised by how much these Nitto Yokai go for. I got outbid on ebay a couple of years ago for a few of them.

Damn, that is totally bonkers. That's a pretty hefty price tag for any toy (for me), no matter the condition. Seems like the vintage game is getting harder and harder to play these days.
